Yilan｜Cong Baobao Farm｜Sanxing Scallion Picking and DIY Experience

It an interesting experience which allow you take the scailion that allow you make your own scailion pancake and bring back fresh scailion. We have to find zi char store that will use the fresh scailion that we pluck to cook a scailion feast.

I was late and the staff helped me arrange the nearest DIY class. I had been making the wrong steps in making scallion pancakes. The staff was very patient and repeated the instructions. When I was pulling the scallions, Daxiong brother (hope I wrote it correctly) answered all my questions. When I changed to eat, there was no staff at first, but when I stood in front of the table for 1 minute, the staff immediately appeared. I highly recommended it, so I wrote the following instructions: If you look at Google Map, take bus No. 1794 from Luodong Hou Railway Station and get off at Fugui. This is correct. You don't have to go to Luodong Transfer Station to take the bus. Although I only found the bus stop sign for Bus 1794 from Sanxing to Luodong at Luodong Back Train Station, just get on the bus when you see the words Luodong->Sanxing Bus 1794 written on the front of the bus. The bus runs once an hour. After arriving, scan the QR code at the registration desk, wash your hands and join the scallion pancake DIY. After making the pancake, hand it to the staff and wait for about twenty minutes for it to be cooked. While waiting for the scallion pancake to cook, go and pick the scallions. The staff will decide whether to change into rain boots based on the situation. Sauce is provided for scallion pancakes. There are rabbits in the garden that you can feed for free. There is grass on the ground on the right, but rabbits cannot eat onions! There is also a parking lot in the park. The activity takes 1.5 to 2 hours.

For the pancake session, we were given ready dough (choose either original, matcha, sweet potato or strawberry flavour). It was easy to follow the step by step instructions; the frying part was left to the staff for safety reason. Great to be eating something you made on your own! I was surprised that the scallions we plucked were dried up already, later being explained that the farm had that plucking session for us to experience plucking and that the quality Sanxing scallions were on the other side of the farm. Overall a good experience. We got some scallion-flavoured food onsite too.

we had a great time. it was such a unique experience to be able to make your own scallion pancake and eat it after! plus we got to harvest a scallion as well. i definitely recommend this!

interesting experience to Harvest spring onion and to make one. the pancake taste yummy and fresh!!! weather is hot though... recommended activity at Yilan.

New experience for the kids! The package comes with ice-cream & spring onion biscuits ! the kids had first hand experience on making pancake and plucking the spring onions which excited them alot. very worth it!!!!

such a fun and interesting experience! got the scallion pancake making and scallion harvesting, both i love a lot! for both they're conducted in mandarin, but the guides are very nice and patience to help along. definitely worth it! getting to the location via bus may be a bit far, almost 15mins walk from the bus stop. when going back, we took an uber ride instead, which came quite fast within 7 minutes. definitely recommended for all scallion lovers!!

We, a family of 5, took a taxi to the Chongchuang Baby Experience Center. Because it was close to noon and very hot🥵, we had an onion-plucking activity, but because it was very hot, we could only pull out one onion. The store provided rain boots and bucket hats, which I liked the most The first part is DIY scallion pancakes. The teacher is very enthusiastic and kind, and explains clearly. After finishing, you can eat the scallion pancakes you made.

Simply scan the QR code to redeem your experience ticket. The scallion pancake making process is taught in detail, with several staff members assisting participants. After about 30 minutes of preparation, the pancakes will be immediately taken to be fried. Approximately 15 minutes later, you can enjoy your freshly made scallion pancakes on the spot.
