- The Fenghuanggu Bird and Ecology Park is a natural environment and habitat for many wild animals and insects. We recommend wearing breathable clothing such as long sleeves and pants, as well as comfortable walking shoes. To prevent sunburn and mosquito bites, please bring your own mosquito repellent.
- The park is located in a valley, resulting in significant temperature differences between morning and evening and unstable weather conditions. We recommend bringing extra clothing and rain gear. The park information desk also provides complimentary umbrellas for your convenience.

How to get there
- Driving: National Highway 3: Take the Zhushan Interchange → Provincial Highway 3 (towards Zhushan Lugu) → Baojia Road (County Road 151A) → County Road 151 → Lugu → Tou 56 → Fenghuanggu Bird and Ecology Park (approximately 17 kilometers)
- Public Transportation: Take Taichung Bus 6188 (Taichung-Zhushan) to Zhushan Yanping Station, then transfer to Yuanlin Bus 6717 (Zhushan-Bird Park) and get off at the Bird Park stop.

Entering the Phoenix Bird Park, the staff is very enthusiastic to guide the route and start to play from there. The birds are taken care of very beautiful and the environment is also very clean. There are also stone slides for adults and children to play, and forest trails. It’s very comfortable to walk. In the recent water shortage period, I even saw the waterfall. I’m really lucky. Whether it’s a family or friend travel, especially a family trip, I highly recommend everyone to come and visit. The tickets are very good value. I have a chance in the future, I will definitely go again

The bird park is under renovation in many areas, which is a shame. But the tickets aren't expensive, and you can also visit the Chelungpu Preservation Area. In the morning, visit Phoenix Valley, then have lunch at Zhuxiangyuan or Da Ren Ge, and then visit the Earthquake Museum.

There are many kinds of special birds in the park, and it is quite comfortable to walk. Fei's lovebirds are super cute, and there are elegant white peacocks! The park is divided into zones A~D, and the forest slide is in zone A, so children are not greasy. There is not much food in the shopping street. It is recommended to prepare your own food and fruits. It is good to see that many people bring their own instant noodles (there is hot water in the park).
