Secret Spot Hot Tubs Rotorua
- Soak in your own cedar hot tub surrounded by ferns overlooking a beautiful stream
- Immerse yourself in natural spring water that's been filtered and heated to a perfect 39.9 degrees Celsius
- Bathe and relax in perfect temperatures whilst overlooking beautiful native gardens on the edge of the mighty Whakarewarewa forest
- Water in each individual hot tub is continuously filtered and refreshed during your soak. It’s ‘your’ water only – the water does not flow from tub to tub.
- After your soak, lounge a little longer on the veranda and boardwalk area where you can enjoy a bite to eat, an ice cream, or a post-soak beverage. The on-site licenced cafe has a selection of local craft beers and ciders, as well as a range of NZ wine and soft drinks
- Cool off in the refreshing cold plunge tub
What to expect
Secret Spot Hot Tubs is a magical cedar hot tub development, set in a beautifully landscaped New Zealand oasis. Secret Spot Hot Tubs is a must-do activity for holiday makers and is a go-to favourite for locals. 12 hand-crafted cedar hot tubs dot the edge of the Puarenga Stream, each one filled with pure spring water from secret forest spring which is then heated to a perfectly relaxing 39.9 degrees Celsius. Secret Spot is also home to the Shinny Dip, an irresistible, complimentary foot spa, as well as refreshing complimentary cold plunge tubs. Whilst you soak, you will be served local beers, wines or ciders, direct to your hot tub. Absolute bliss!

Reviews
the best forest experience you can get here with good service and good food. hot tub was in middle of nature and you going to love the place
We visited at night when it was cold, and the hot tub was the perfect way to get warm 😭it was very relaxing and you can buy drinks. went at 9pm and there was not many people, so we basically had the locker room to ourselves. the soak was 45 mins long which was more than enough. it was very private and quiet at night (we went on a weekday). we bought the tickets on klook just few hours before. highly recommend if you need to get warm!!
the experience is spectacular... we booked evening and it was just perfect as it was bit cold due to winter time when booked experience: great! fantastic and sooo romantic safety: very safe
good vibes and relaxation geothermal tub. beautiful design and private for couples and family. there is cafe and waiting area. Friendly staff:)
The only drawback is that the usage time is short at 45 minutes including changing time. It was nice to use it late at night because it had a nice atmosphere, and it was also romantic because it was an open-air bath with a light rain. It is recommended in terms of price.
This is a perfect way to wrap up after a day full of fun activities. Very relaxing hot tubs and some cold soak tubs too.
the place so amazing and looks stunning! The architecture/scenery/atmosphere really captures the essence of secret spot hot tubs. just good place to have time, also their stuff so kind.🥰Perfect
We loved it . The place is so relaxing and worth every pennies. Definitely will come again in future!
We used the family bath with our children. Soaking in the hot springs while looking at Mount Rotorua was truly amazing. The weather was a bit chilly, so the children were able to fully enjoy the hot springs.
amazing experience to relax and rejuvenate! this is my 2nd time and would love to come back again ♥️♥️♥️
