When visiting Penghu, it’s a great place to hide from the sun and get some air conditioning on a hot day at noon. It’s recommended (although the air conditioning isn’t very strong, it’s still comfortable!). There are three floors in total. The second and third floors are the main areas for visiting, and a large model of the Flower House is expected to be installed. You can have an in-depth understanding of Penghu’s history, culture, customs and people. Buying a double ticket for two people at Klook is a great deal! (Tickets must be exchanged at the ticket office). Eating and drinking is prohibited in the museum. ⏺️The escalator feels like it needs repairs and keeps making high-frequency noises ⏺️The Chinese medicine cabinets in the exhibits need to be updated, and they have no smell~
At first, I thought it was too hot outside, so I wanted to find an indoor attraction to pass the time. It turned out to be a place well worth visiting! It documents the traditional life of Penghu, clearly recording its ancient culture, including food, clothing, housing, transportation, culture, and religion. The models, replica boats, and scenery on display truly show the effort put into them! It made us stop at each exhibit, one by one, to carefully appreciate the old societal culture presented. This is truly a very thoughtfully designed venue.
This time, I brought my family to quickly learn about Penghu culture, and our first stop was the Penghu Living Museum. It mainly displays rich content related to Penghu's history, culture, and customs, and it is also a suitable indoor attraction for families to visit together. The museum uses real cultural relics, models, audio-visual multimedia, and life scene restoration to allow visitors to deeply understand the local life trajectory of Penghu. The tickets are very reasonable and it is really worth a visit 👍

A highly recommended museum with detailed introduction, comfortable environment, and some interactive areas, and the ticket price is so cheap! You can have a good understanding of Penghu’s food, clothing, housing, transportation, entertainment, sacrificial culture, history, trade, medical care, and education. Indoor itineraries are most recommended👍👍👍👍👍
The full ticket is 80 on site, and the Klook ticket for two is 99. It is very convenient to buy it and use it right away. The exhibitions in the museum are also worth seeing. If you have time, it is recommended to take a walk. You can also visit the geological center next to it (it will be closed from 12 to 14 noon). There is now free VR to watch.
The planning of the museum that has been emptied before is good!!! In addition to the whole ship + boarding tour that is often seen in European museums (I don’t know why I have such an impression 🤣🤣🤣) It also introduces the history and geography of Penghu, which is easy to understand and has many more Wonderful micro-movie played from different angles at the same time
A great museum that introduces Penghu's sacrifice, medical treatment, culture, learning, food and maritime culture in detail. There are also many interactive areas. The space is large and comfortable, and the ticket price is unexpectedly cheap. It is definitely the best indoor itinerary in Penghu
