Visit the tower and get to explore its various viewing areas from the 63 meter main viewing floor, to the 259 meter Suspended Viewing Corridor - where you can admire the panoramic views of Shanghai's skyline (night and day), and more! You can even learn about Shanghai's historical development at the Shanghai City Historical Development Exhibition Hall - all included with your admission ticket. There's even a VR roller coaster ride within the TV Tower, so make sure to check that out while you're there!

This was my first visit to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. I booked 5:00 PM tickets through Klook. Before the activity, the booking agency contacted me via WhatsApp with instructions on how to use them. Also, because we went on a weekday, Klook informed us that we could actually enter at any time, so we arrived at 4:00 PM. Some people choose to visit at night to see the Bund's exterior, but we opted for dusk so we could clearly see the buildings. We purchased the two-sphere ticket, which I found to be reasonably priced. I also booked the buffet, and we even went to the 95M and 98M levels to play VR, which was really great. We spent about 1.75 to 2 hours playing games.
I didn't expect this experience to be this good. I've been to multiple towers already but this one has a lot of experience, not just with the observatory and the restuarant but there's a lot of activities you can try too as you go down the tower. I LOVED IT. There's also a light show of the tower outside which I didn't expect. Amazing and really worth it. The food in the buffet is premium too.
We visited the Oriental Pearl Tower (东方明珠塔) on a Friday afternoon, and were pleasantly surprised that the crowd was not overwhelming. The queue to enter was relatively short, making for a smooth experience. We booked our entrance tickets and revolving international buffet dinner at the revolving restaurant through Klook, which was very convenient. The tower offers a 360° panoramic view of Shanghai. Although there is an option to visit the highest sphere at an additional cost, we found the middle sphere more than sufficient to take in the stunning cityscape. Our dinner reservation was at 5pm, but a queue started forming as early as 4pm — and of course, being Singaporeans, we instinctively joined in! The buffet was decent for the price, and came with free-flow Tsingtao beer. The views were absolutely breathtaking, especially witnessing the city transform from daylight to sunset to the dazzling night skyline. Overall, it was a great experience — one we would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Shanghai.
SUPER WORTH IT. The food selection at the entire buffet is so diverse and multi cuisine. they also have lamb shank, steak, and prawn thermidor. they have japanese station serving high quality salmon and other seafoods. as for the the pearl observation deck- the view was nice though a bit cloudy during my time so that's a con.
Although some videos urge tourists not to spend money to go up to the Oriental Pearl Tower, they can go to other high-rise buildings to enjoy the view of the Huangpu River. After the actual experience, I personally recommend purchasing the "Two-Sphere Sightseeing + Revolving Restaurant" package as a good place to visit Shanghai for the first time and experience Shanghai's past and present style. The reasons are as follows. 1. Convenient transportation: Exit 1 of Lujiazui Station of Metro Line 2. 2. Start visiting in the afternoon, enjoy the sun and sunset, and have dinner to watch the night view. Three types of Shanghai scenery are satisfied in one visit. 3. My actual visit sequence and content (November, Saturday with huge crowds) (1) Entry security check, all backpacks and handbags must go through the scanning machine. Scan the voucher QR code (2) Queue (for a long time) and take the elevator to the 263M main observation deck. The floor area was not as spacious as expected, and there were a lot of people. It was very hot and sunny, but luckily I had to wear sunscreen. The best seller is probably the ice cream. There are a few seats, but it's hard to find an empty seat. Too crowded, too hot, the worst part of the experience. (3) Go down the stairs to the 259M fully transparent suspended observation gallery. Although there are still a lot of people, the cool breeze makes everyone relax, enjoy and take photos. There is more room to sit and rest. (4) At 16:30, go up the stairs back to the main sightseeing floor of 263M, queue up, and prepare to enter the revolving restaurant. Sunset at 16:51, I took two photos. (5) At 17:00, go up the stairs to the 267M revolving restaurant, enter to enjoy the buffet dinner and enjoy the night view. The seating area rotates once every 2 hours (360 degrees), and the relative positions of the seats and the dining table continue to change. It is easy to get lost when returning to your seat to take your meal (ha~). The lights on the tables in the seating areas are different in each area and can be used as a basis for identifying your seat. Because of the high altitude + rotation, you can see the Huangpu River view that cannot be seen "standing on the Bund Scenic Avenue". Many people commented that the dishes were mediocre, but I evaluated them based on the CP value. The price marked on the WeChat applet is used as the calculation basis: "Two Ball Sightseeing" alone is RMB 199. "Two-ball sightseeing + revolving restaurant dinner" is RMB 418. After deducting the cost of the two-ball sightseeing, the revolving restaurant dinner is RMB 219 (NT$981, including service charge). I would like to ask which buffet dinner in Taiwan has this price including service charge? What’s more, the price includes high-altitude views! A brief introduction to the buffet dishes. The freshly fried lobster and steak are the most popular, and the freshly fried squid with sauce (or squid?) is also good. The freshly made abalone rice is worth trying (please ask the chef to add a little bit of rice). It is recommended not to use millet sea cucumber because it tastes fishy. The sign in the sashimi section specifically stated that the salmon was produced in Norway, and when I tasted it, I thought the quality was pretty good. There are some Chinese dishes, such as pickled fish in golden soup, but I didn’t try them because I had a bad appetite that day. The variety of braised and spicy skewers is interesting. All kinds of Hong Kong-style barbecued pork and Hong Kong snacks. If you like these, you can try them. Western food such as smoked pork ribs and secret ham are packed with people. The pasta is so good that you can cook it at home. The nectar of poplar branches is ordinary. Fruits and other snacks are average. The mango and tiramisu flavored ice cream are both delicious. There are not many drink options, but you can get beer, which is normal. The cold drinks looked colorful and I only dared to drink Coke. Sugar-free jasmine green tea is fine for hot drinks. Meal time is limited to 2 hours. If you leave 15 minutes early, you can get a random small gift. The paper bag I got was a pack of nuts and a pack of animal crackers. (6) Queue up and take the elevator to the 98M Sky Base (Electric Amusement Park). You can think of it as Tom Bear in high school. This floor is very quiet. If you want to take pictures of night scenes, you can quietly take pictures of the Bund. You can take pictures of the very golden night of the Bund. . (7) Go down the stairs to 95M, a roller coaster that requires an additional fee. No match. (8) Go down the stairs to the 90M outdoor viewing gallery. There is no glass curtain but wire mesh. You can see the Foxconn building opposite and the circular overpass in front of the station. You can walk directly to the subway station without crossing the street. (9) Take the elevator to 78M and stand on the ring road to watch the "Future Shanghai" curved screen video. The content tells the imagination of Shanghai's future. Some people may think it is too much like a science fiction movie, but I think it is great. A city should have a brave dream. ! We found that the name of the film is very romantic: "Updating City". The word "updating" is composed of the word "Shen". Shen is another name for Shanghai, which can be interpreted as Shen Geng, which is the name of "Shanghai Update". meaning. There is a dot between the two words "Shang" and "Hai", which can be broken down into "Gengshang" or "Hai", which means a higher-level Shanghai. It not only injects the thought of prayer, but also fully displays the mystery of words. (10) Return to the 1st floor, 0M Shanghai Urban Historical Development Exhibition Hall (need to scan the QR code again). Originally I didn't have much hope for this exhibition hall. When I first entered the museum, I thought it was a wax museum. As I walked, I slowly discovered that this museum does a great job, taking people through the time tunnel and growing up with Shanghai from ancient times to the present, such as recreating the cafes, Nanjing Road, Shili Foreign Market, the Exchange, and the film before the advent of movies. They all made me feel deeply. (11) 0M Oriental Pearl Souvenir Shop. Finally, it is inevitable to visit the store. Bookmarks and scarves are good choices. If you first go to the Bund Scenic Avenue to enjoy the night view, and then go up to the tower, you can experience the fun of different perspectives. When purchasing tickets on Klook, you must register your passport number with your real name. Don’t buy the wrong ticket package! It's a "revolving restaurant in the sky" rather than a Coca-Cola happy restaurant.
It was an amazing experience. Even though we had a long queue for hours in order to go up, the views of Shang Hai from the top were truly magnificent and offered an unique perspective on the city’s architecture and layout.
Wow!!! very satisfied....the night view is fantastic, the buffet dinner was good, with unli lobsters :) there's an interactive activity for kids too. Must try!!!
Very Nice tour have a good overview of the city. The dinner isnalso good fresh food for cusines. The staffs and guides are user friendly and helpful along the way
It was great. the weather began to deteriorate in the late afternoon. for a fee of 100 yuan, you can climb 351 meters to the highest point of the tower
Gained access to Oriental Pearl Tower easily with just scanning QR code. The view was really amazing. Highly recommended to purchase ticket via Klook. The way to redeem the ticket is very convenient. The night view is beautiful, and it is recommended to use Klook to purchase electronic tickets.
