Recommended to pre-book for Yuyuan Garden admission tickets, it is fast and convenient to just scan the QR code and enter. Yuyuan is a very famous classical Chinese garden in Shanghai, good to visit the garden in the afternoon till closing time at 4.30pm, thereafter you can slowly stroll and shop around Yuyuan Old Street and Bazaar. Can try the Nanxiang Steamed Bun Restaurant and other street foods in the evening.

no need to line up, can go right in with qr code. beautiful song style gardens with nice greenery. better to go earlier to avoid the crowds. reserve enough time to explore the free bazaar outside too!

Visiting Yu Garden was such a beautiful experience — the traditional architecture, peaceful gardens, and vibrant atmosphere made it truly memorable. Our guide, Julian, was knowledgeable, friendly, and very attentive throughout the tour. He explained the history and culture in an engaging way while making sure we are comfortable and enjoying the experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Shanghai!

We had a lovely experience visiting Yu Garden in Shanghai. Booking our tickets through Klook was very easy and convenient, which made planning our visit simple. The gardens are absolutely beautiful, with traditional architecture, ponds, rockeries and plenty of great photo opportunities throughout. We visited during Golden Week and it was also raining heavily, so it was understandably very busy, but we still really enjoyed exploring the gardens. Despite the crowds and weather, Yu Garden was definitely worth visiting. There are so many beautiful spots to stop for photos, and the rain actually added to the atmosphere of the traditional gardens. A wonderful place to experience while visiting Shanghai!

The klook service was good, our barcode got wrong date and they responded very fast, but in the garden so many tourists, very crowded, can’t enjoy the view and environment, not recommended to buy the tickets because the more beautiful place was at the bazaar/market area which is free entry

The garden was ancient and so beautiful. they had preserved that architecture. the old houses had so many beautiful places to take pictures. The guide was so nice and had very good English speaking skills. we had a great time because she was supportive. highly recommended.

Beautiful gardens - such a calm atmosphere despite being in the middle of the city! There are lots of little pathways and different areas to look at, all well maintained by the staff and clear signage throughout. I would recommend going towards the start time of the booking: I arrived just after 9am and it was fairly quiet, by the time I was leaving (around 10:30) it was a lot busier.

Yu Garden and its surroundings are the MUST VISIT when you are in Shanghai. Awesome experience! Besides stepping through the history of Yu Garden, you get awed by the beautiful buildings, sculptures and plants. You also get to shop and eat authentic stuffs. Great to stay till the night for the night view too.
