seat reservation process: It is easy to locate the bus you take, and the seat is arranged by the driver in advance. The bus departed half an hour later than the scheduled time. However, the journey was smooth along the way, with multiple stops at rest stations where we could buy snacks and drinks or use the restroom. The rest breaks were ample, and we managed to reach Kathmandu within eight hours.
I Booked Ticket From Pokhara to Kathmandu for 4 seat..the seat are comfortable & the person in charge are so good & helpful..stop at 3 place to take a meals & Rest.. The journey around 8 hours with a good view along the way
I was able to return home comfortably in a spacious seat. There were many rest stops so I didn't have any trouble finding a toilet. There were cafes, shops and restaurants so I was able to buy food as needed. The ride was quite shaky so I think it's best to be careful of motion sickness.
The bus seats were pretty comfortable. But today, due to road repairs, the 8-hour trip turned into 12 hours. The journey was terrible. We stopped for an hour and the driver turned off the engine and didn't turn on the air conditioning, so everyone was unbearably hot and got out of the bus to wait.
The train is very shaky, but the seats are not too uncomfortable. They will stop by for toilet breaks about three times along the way.
The arrival instructions for Kathmandu listed two different locations, and I mistakenly thought one was for Pokhara, but it wasn't.
wrote in to confirm that the bus will leave at 730am but the bus only departed at 8am. apparently, everyone on board got the memo. because of this, the jam build up and it took longer to reach ktm. the price quoted on klook was also significantly more expensive than buying with local agents. also, the lunch place is just an eatery which is far cry from the 4 star hotel food that they advertise.
I couldn't go back to Kathmandu from Pokhara due to the political unrest in the capital at that time. I didn't feel safe going back so i contacted Klook to ask for a refund but I was ignored. My trip to Pokhara was also disappointing. The seats do not recline and the 'buffet lunch at a hotel' I paid for, was a roadside restaurant with only 3 food options and lots of flies buzzing around. I even had to pay to get a cup of instant coffee.
Dont buy here as it was not any luxury bus nor "buffet lunch", the luxury are mich better with toilet inboard but NOT this operator. There was NO refreshment nor snack except water. The lunch was a curry chicken set that was selling only NDR450 with 20%. discount for passenger. KLook does NOT check and take ANY responsibility.
It takes approximately 8 hours to get from Kathmandu to Pokhara. The road conditions are poor, so the car shakes a lot. The shaking is worse towards the back seats of the car, so the rear seats sometimes feel like you're on a disco pang pang, occasionally even levitating. The road conditions are unavoidable. However, whether going from Kathmandu to Pokhara or coming back, they seat Koreans in the very back. Even when asked to switch to the front, they say the seats are already assigned and it's not possible. The seating order seems to be locals first, then Europeans or Chinese, and finally Koreans in the very back. All the other Korean travelers besides us were seated in the back. It's unpleasant to have Koreans unilaterally assigned to the back without a chance to choose seats.
