We recently had the pleasure of participating in the Balinese Costume Experience and Photoshoot in Bali with my family of four, and it was an unforgettable experience. Tia and her family were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The entire process was seamless and enjoyable. We were provided with beautiful traditional Balinese costumes, and Tia's family assisted us with dressing up, ensuring that every detail was perfect. The photoshoot itself was a lot of fun, and the family was patient and creative in capturing stunning shots of our group. The sample pictures we saw were great and exceeded our expectations. We can't wait for the rest of the photos to arrive. One of the highlights was the hospitality and warmth of Tia and her family. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy throughout the experience. I wish their family well and highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Bali. At first I doubted if I had come to the wrong place, but after arriving I realized that this was their home. I also visited the local home culture. The photographer was the eldest son, who has great photography skills. I like every photo 👍 But what I like most is the interaction with them. They enthusiastically introduced their family to us, and kept chatting with us while we were waiting for the car to pick us up. If I come to Bali again, I will definitely come to see them again❤️

Her daughter added such joyful energy to the experience, making the whole session even more enjoyable. What truly stood out was how attentive the team was to my children. The guide and makeup artist went out of their way to make my kids feel special and at ease, ensuring they were comfortable and engaged throughout. It was clear they genuinely cared, and that made all the difference. The makeup was beautifully done, the costumes were stunning, and the professionalism of the entire team—including the friendly driver—made this a truly memorable experience.

We are so glad to book this photo session with Tia's family. It's a true Balinese experience to see a family home, temples, markets, Denparsa historical locations. The host family was so warm and welcoming from the very start. We felt so special being taken care of every detail along the way. Despite the rainy weather, we had plenty of photo opportunities. There are still few reviews and no Japanese comments, so I will just give you a reference. First of all, the color and design of the rental kebaya are very cheap, and you can buy them for about 2,000 to 3,000 yen at the market. There are not many options for colors and designs. I was only presented with one set, and since I didn't have much to choose from, I obediently wore it. The hair setting technique was amateurish by Japanese standards. They didn't use a hair iron or hot curlers, but instead brushed my hair in the opposite direction, sprayed it down, and put it in a net to hold it in place. I thought it would be impossible to take a photo of my back, and I was right, so I only took a photo from the front. The makeup tools lined up seemed unhygienic to Japanese people, so I declined to do my face makeup and did it myself. The photo shoot was in the form of visiting an ordinary private home to take the photos, and the staff were all family. To put it in a positive way, they were homely and friendly, but the excessive communication made me very tired. They kept talking to me and asked me a lot of personal questions. I think this depends on the culture and personality, but it didn't suit me as a Japanese person with a dark personality. The concept of visiting a Balinese home and taking photos while enjoying local sightseeing in Denpasar is very good, but you should think carefully before booking. The price is quite high, and considering the mental fatigue and questionable quality, it was a bad experience for me.
