5-Day Best of Round Taiwan Island Tour from Taipei

Great Itinerary, wonderful guide ( our guide is Eric) and the hotels are amazing. The hotels are either near downtown, or resort style. This is a must join if you are staying in Taiwan for a week or so and want to explore the best of Taiwan

This trip far exceeded our expectations. It's hard to imagine a better organization and execution of the trip. Everything was perfect - the crew, hotels and hotel service, driver skills, attractions, sightseeing time, breaks, etc. Alan introduced us to Taiwan in an interesting and engaging way and shared information and curiosities that you won't find on the internet. The "culinary map" and "hotel options" at the end of the day are the cherry on top. It was wonderful to feel so relaxed throughout the 5-day trip. Alan's sense of humor is incredible, we love it. Our tour guide Alan Chou is wonderful! He speaks perfect English and Chinese. He provided detailed information about the places we visited and managed time very well. The pace of the tour is just right for us. All the hotels we stayed on this tour are high quality especially the breakfast which exceeded our expectations. Two of the four hotels are hot spring hotels which is an added bonus! We highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in seeing Taiwan in a very efficient and comfortable way.

Although I didn’t go to Taitung after the earthquake, other scenic spots are also very beautiful, the hot springs feel great, and all the hotels are great!

A great way to see and get a glimpse of the top must see sights and locations around Taiwan. Unfortunately we were unable to make it to Taroko gorge due to the earthquake but the tour was able to we revise on the short notice to fill in the itinerary.

Alan Chou was our awesome tour guide. While the first day was a bit strenuous with a lot of walking, follow-on days were a bit better. Alan was super in giving a heads up about what to expect each day, how many stairs we might encounter, where to eat when we were stopped, and great with fun facts about Taiwan. He makes the group feel at ease and helped us avoid crowds, getting us to busy locations early. His self-deprecating humor makes the tour fun and he welcomed feedback about any changes. Hotels were really great - some with their own private bath for hot springs. Days 1 and 2 are a bit heavy on the temples/pagodas, but the rest was pretty much beautiful ocean scenes and cool rock formations. Well worth taking the tour. Taroko Gorge is a must visit place.

As soon as we booked this tour, tour company contacted us and ask if we need further info, we could contact direct. Hotels were all 5* as promised and we covered places of interest as per itinerary. our guide Jerry gave us lots of historical info abt Taiwan as we travel around the whole island and cities. driver kept the bus clean and tidy everyday. I would highly recommend if u want to experience the best of Taiwan in 5Days this would be it. Jerry was fluent in both English and Chinese Languages so he was able to do both commentary. thank you Edison Tours and Kllook.
