This is the best option of seeing the tunnels. The trip via boat is faster than by bus so you beat the crowds. Crew was friendly and good was good highly recommend.
What a wow experience! The Les Rives team provided amazing hospitality with their warmth and constant flow of beverages. The guide, Hang, was also very good about keeping the group together and adapting the itinerary so that we never felt intruded upon by the large number of groups. Everything felt professional and expedient!
excellent transport arrangement in a speedy and refreshing boat ride provided with light refreshments, the tour guide is friendly with detailed explanation about the tunnel history and how it worked in the past, absolute recommendation for those who would wish to know more about Vietnam war history!
It took about 1 hour and 15 minutes by boat to arrive at the Cu Chi Tunnel. Banh mi, drinks, and water were provided in the boat. Lunch is also provided separately :) Mosquitoes don't bite your legs at all if you wear long pants. You can spray mosquito repellent. ㅋ I went with my nephews, and they enjoyed the tunnel experience together. ㅎ Even if you don't know the history well, I enjoyed watching it together. ㅎ It's an English guide, so even if you don't understand everything, it's no problem if you study the history. ㅎ The guide was so kind and guided me well, so I really liked it! ! Take a boat rather than a car~~!! The boat is highly recommended! fun. :)
Wonderful experience. Our guide fetched us at our hotel at 7 am for a 10-minute ride to the pier where we transferred to a speedboat together with other tourists (a family of five and a couple). They prepared fruits, Banh Mi and iced coffee for us as well as gave us glass water bottles as souvenir. We arrived at Cu Chi after 1.15 hours and since we were early, we avoided the throngs of tourists that visit the place. We had a lovely lunch at the restaurant near the river where we were served soup, chicken, fish, vegetables, pork rolls and a can of coconut water soda. We also tasted some boiled cassava, the staple food of the Vietcong when they were in hiding. We love the Cu Chi experience which was further heightened by the fact that we were a small intimate group and that our guide was very patient and attentive. Traveling by speed boat was also something I recommend to those who want to breathe fresh air and enjoy the beauty of nature. We were back at our hotel before 1 pm.
Highly recommend going to the Cu Chi Tunnels via speedboat - it’s far more interesting and faster than going by bus or van. The breakfast provided was delicious and the crew were very friendly. Our guide was amazing and did a great job at sharing personal anecdotes of the war.
The tour guide explained the history very seriously, which was very interesting. There are also some historical sites preserved for modern people to see. Finally, there are also guns for you to experience shooting, which is very interesting and educational.
This was a great tour. From the first moment we were looked after with good fresh food, interesting education and activities. Our guide was friendly and his English was excellent. The boat was comfortable and easy to see around. All three of us would highly recommend.
The guide was really good try he boat ride to the location was nice and scenic. The food was nice on the boat. We could eat at a leisurely pace watching the river bank. The lunch at the tunnels was also good
Small group tour with a English speaking guide. Speedboat ride was a good experience on its own. Tour was well planned and we had a chance to go through the tunnels to experience how it felt like to be inside.
