Reviews
This tour was great, we only had 4 people, who were fantastic to get along with. 오빠 Jin Yong was our driver and guide. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and had excellent recommendations for famous local eats- such as Jeonju Bibimbap, and choco pies. There is alot of free time to do things at your own pace, but time goes quickly as there are many things to see and do. Anyone who loves traditional Korean culture should book this and see and eat many things.
There is no Japanese speaking guide, but we were worried about going on our own by KTX or bus, and there wasn't a better time slot than we expected, so we applied for a tour. It had been a while since I had booked a hotel in Myeong-dong, so it was convenient to depart from a location near the hotel. I read the reviews and it said it would take 4.5 hours on weekends and holidays, so I decided to go on weekdays. The trip took 3 hours, but the return trip took 4 hours due to the rush hour. On the way, I stopped at a service area for a restroom break. It was similar to service areas in Japan, and the toilets didn't flush paper, but they were pretty clean. When we arrived in Jeonju, we enjoyed the bibimbap and sweets we had come for, and enjoyed sightseeing in Hanok villages, including Gyeonggijeon, which is often used in historical dramas. There is a Japanese guidebook available locally, so you don't have to worry. If you answered a survey on-site, you could receive a gift. If you understand a little bit of Korean and English, you'll be fine! ︎We stayed for 4 and a half hours, which was plenty for us, who are impatient. However, unfortunately it was raining. It was nice to be able to sleep in peace on the round trip bus. It was so much fun riding the bus together, it felt like a school trip 🎶 If you're worried about going on your own, please sign up for a tour.
Excellent tour to Jeonju. Our tour guide Kim Ha was knowledgeable and so helpful to our group. He told us all of the must see/ must eat places in Jeonju and even booked a restaurant for us first lunch. We had a great day in Jeonju!
Jonathan was such a great tour guide! Was very knowledgeable and gave good insights during the tour. Was a very enjoyable experience! 😊 Jeonju was definitely worth a visit.
There were 5 of us in this tour, so we set off in a van. Ha Kim was our guide. He speaks perfect Mandarin and English, and let us knew where to go around in the village. He was patient and helpful.
Our guide Tino took our group of 20 to Jeonju by bus. The journey was comfortable and took a little under 3 hours. The guide made sure to share the best spots to visit and was really helpfull and kind. Nice trip, it does take a while to get there but for me the time spend there was long enough. Nice day trip from Seoul!
Feeling about this tour is a bit boring. It took 3-4 hours to get there, the tour guide was like nothing, got on the bus and couldn't say a few words, arrived at the drop-off point at the appointment gate at 3:20 p.m., returned to the pick-up point and then left, it was a free tour but there were It's a bit too easy to ignore. When I get home, I get in the car and go to Seoul, say 1-2 goodbyes and that's it. In terms of sightseeing, it's generally beautiful, but going far and wandering around isn't really worth it, everyone should consider it to avoid wasting a long day 🥱🥱
Jeonju is a beautiful village & interesting . A must visit when visiting South Korea..
Whole trip is only the tour guide, my-self and a family of four. Our tour guide Jinyoung is very polite, responsive and attentive. He will contact you via Whatsapp 1 day before to remind you the meeting time and place. He spoke in fluent English, provide lot of information and recommend nice food. Jeonju is very beautiful. Love the old attractive building and walking around. I had a very fantastic me time during this trip - escaping from a very busy city to a peaceful village. Never regret to take this one day tour.
The tour guide introduced in detail, took good care of you, and recommended must-visit attractions and restaurants.
