Activation procedure
- iPhone
- Open 'Settings' and go to 'Mobile Data' Activate 'Data Roaming'
- Open 'Cellular Data' and Go to 'Cellular Data Options'
- Go to 'Cellular Data Network'
- In the APN boxes fill in 'CMHK'
- Select 'Store'
- Android
- Open 'Settings' and go to 'Connection'
- Go to 'Mobile Networks' and access 'Point Name'
- Select 'Add' to create a new access point and fill in: 'Name: mobile, APN: CMHK, Authentication Type: CHAP or PAP'
- Select 'Store' and then select the newly created access point named three
- Open Mobile Data (Cellular Data) and International Roaming (Data Roaming)
- Restart your phone to use SIM in Japan

This SIM card worked well for my trip to Fukuoka. For my Samsung Galaxy phone, just insert the card and it starts working.

Highly recommend. While some SIMs on klook are faulty - this one was sent within 48 hrs and a must have for japan due to high usage of maps!!

It’s so convenient. It took about a week after purchase until it was shipped to my house. I followed the instructions to insert the card in Japan and the card was activated very quickly. The Internet speed was not lost. I watched YouTube videos and watched videos with my family smoothly without any lag.

The card arrived quickly and it's easy to install, once you landed Japan you can just activate the card and use it in different cities with no problem.
