Premium Street Food Tour & Sightseeing on Scooter Ho Chi Minh City

If you want to experience Ho Chi Minh City like a local, this tour is a must. I joined Saigon Adventure’s 12-food tour, and it was easily one of the highlights of my trip. Our guide, Daniel, was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Vietnamese food. He explained the history and culture behind every dish, making the experience much more than just a food tour. Every stop was excellent, but my favorites were the bánh mì, bánh tráng nướng, bò lá lốt, and chuối nướng. By the end, I was completely stuffed and couldn’t believe how much amazing food was included. The tour is done by motorbike, which sounded intimidating at first, but despite Ho Chi Minh City’s chaotic traffic, Daniel made me feel safe the entire time. Riding through the city was an adventure in itself. If you’re visiting Ho Chi Minh City, I can’t recommend Daniel and the Saigon Adventure team enough. Come hungry—you’ll leave with a full stomach and a much deeper appreciation of Vietnamese food and culture.

Life’s adventure starts just one decision and a click away (ok a few actually, 😆) Signing up a 1:1 scooter tour with Saigon Adventure is one that i don’t regret and will highly recommend! signing up for a 12 dish tour, i was lucky enough to be matched with Rae, my personal guide. fluent in english, communications and conversations never cease to surprise and enlighten me with the wealth of knowledge she has with HCMC. Taking extra caution when we first started the tour, she taught me how to board her bike, what to look out for on the exhaust pipe, made sure i was comfortable throughout the bike ride. What i noticed beyond the tour were the connection she had with the vendors we visited. It’s not transactional but deep personal connection where she cared for the older vendors who were making ends meet. If you want to know more, engage Saigon Adventures and pray that you get Rae (though i’m sure other guides are personable and converse as well too) 100% recommend! 👍🏻☺️

It was one of the best things we did in HCMC! Highly recommend this tour. Kevin was very professional throughout the whole tour with intensive background explanation of the places we visited. He also explained us about the food we are eating as well. I liked his little quizzes that he prepared to have us thinking in between. Kai was also very supportive throughout the tour being the right hand of Kevin. I would say it is one of the best way to see how the locals eat and live!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend Leon, the glasses lady, and their amazing team! The door-to-door hotel pickup and drop-off made everything so easy and stress-free. The drivers were incredibly smooth and professional—my parents felt 100% safe the entire time. This 4-hour tour is worth every penny. They took us to amazing local hidden gems, like the District 10 market, Vườn Lài night market, and the historic Bàn Cờ neighborhood from 1968. Truly an authentic local experience! The 12 Tasting with Seafood menu was phenomenal and left us completely stuffed! Highlights were the rich Bún Bò Huế, world-class Chuối Nướng, fresh scallops with onion fat, and ice-cold Saigon Beer. Leon’s team treated us like old friends with flawless English. An unforgettable night in Saigon! 💯🛵🔥

A highly recommended tour! One of the highlights of my Saigon trip! Enjoyed exploring around the less touristy areas of the city while learning so much about the history, cuisine, and religion of Vietnam. Tom, the tour leader, was full of knowledge and passion. He speaks good English as well. His team did a great job making sure everyone in the group was safe and comfortable. I appreciate my driver, Cherry, for looking after me and for sharing a lot about the history of Vietnam as well. Food was good and itinerary was properly planned. Would do this tour again if I could :)

🇻🇳This time in Vietnam, I joined a street food tour, and it has been one of my favorite experiences of the trip. Our guide, Rae, is incredibly knowledgeable. Not only did I get to enjoy amazing local food, but I also learned a lot about Vietnam’s history. Walking, exploring, and eating at the same time — I truly loved this part. It made the whole journey so rich and exciting. I honestly think this is one of the best and fastest ways to get to know the city. What impressed me the most was how caring Rae was. Every time I finished a dish, she thoughtfully handed me wet wipes to clean my hands🧻, and even fanned me to help cool me down🪭. Her English is excellent, and she can even speak some Chinese, which made communication so easy and comfortable. Her kindness and patience truly touched me. I’m so grateful for this experience — thank you for making me give Ho Chi Minh City a big thumbs up.👍

absolutely incredible tour. Family friendly. I am Viet and have been to Saigon 4 times and still was wow’ed by this tour. our guides and drivers ANH NGOC, TÍNH LÊ ,NGUYEN TRANG THE VINH were top notch. we’ve had tours around the world and I think honestly they may have been the best! they were friendly, informative, very accommodating of my family (we have two young kids - 2 & 5!), and also made sure I had vegetarian options! the food was delicious and the tasting size was very very generous - much more than just a sampling. we left with very full bellies and happy hearts. the scooter ride through the city is just incredible - the vibes, the views, the smells. also! we are larger than the guides by quite a bit of kgs and they still were able to drive us around no problem. we had the driver, child, and one adult on one scooter. I would recommend this tour to anyone, whole heartedly. their English is great too! very very happy with our experience

We booked a 7 course food tasting scooter tour at night. Hannah Dinh and her team, Cherry and Genie took great care of my wife and son as it's their first time pillon on a scooter. We explored various districts of Ho Chi Minh City, learnt the culture and lifestyle during and after the American war. 7 course food tasting is just nice for my family members, we also shared some of the meals like (banh mi, grill banana with coconut milk) in order not to anything waste food. Our favorite foods were Bun Bo Hue, Banh Mi, Grill beef in betel leave and creme brulee. The scooter ride was safe for my 10 year old boy, he had an amazing experience of the smooth and yet busy traffic of Ho Chi Minh City. I will highly recommend travellers with family and kids to experience this activities.

The itinerary was so well thought out!! My friend and I had a great time with Anna and Nora, who provided excellent service. I think this is 100% a must-do activity for anyone visiting Vietnam for the first time. It was interesting to see Ho Chi Minh City from the perspective of the locals. My friend and I felt extremely safe riding on the scooters with our guides. This will definitely be the highlight of our trip!!

Our team leader was Thi. She was a great leader, explaining the foods, the food names, the local area's culture, and its history. Thi spoke fluent English, and I completely understood it. We spent around three hours together, and we were happy and enjoying ourselves. Besides, my driver Martin was great. He would chat with me while we were moving between different spots. We discussed many topics together, from living to surviving in Vietnam. Drivers are mainly university students and know about the local young vibe. I wholeheartedly recommend this for travelers.
