Street Food Tour & Sightseeing on Scooter in Ho Chi Minh City

My tour guide was Peter. He is such a darling. He took care of me well. we had amazing food tour. they also told us about the history of Vietnam. I had a great experience, will definitely recommend this tour to the first timers.

If you want to experience Ho Chi Minh City like a local, this tour is a must. I joined Saigon Adventure’s 12-food tour, and it was easily one of the highlights of my trip. Our guide, Daniel, was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Vietnamese food. He explained the history and culture behind every dish, making the experience much more than just a food tour. Every stop was excellent, but my favorites were the bánh mì, bánh tráng nướng, bò lá lốt, and chuối nướng. By the end, I was completely stuffed and couldn’t believe how much amazing food was included. The tour is done by motorbike, which sounded intimidating at first, but despite Ho Chi Minh City’s chaotic traffic, Daniel made me feel safe the entire time. Riding through the city was an adventure in itself. If you’re visiting Ho Chi Minh City, I can’t recommend Daniel and the Saigon Adventure team enough. Come hungry—you’ll leave with a full stomach and a much deeper appreciation of Vietnamese food and culture.

Our team leader was Thi. She was a great leader, explaining the foods, the food names, the local area's culture, and its history. Thi spoke fluent English, and I completely understood it. We spent around three hours together, and we were happy and enjoying ourselves. Besides, my driver Martin was great. He would chat with me while we were moving between different spots. We discussed many topics together, from living to surviving in Vietnam. Drivers are mainly university students and know about the local young vibe. I wholeheartedly recommend this for travelers.

this is one of the best tours I have ever done and the food was the reason for booking but the guides made it exceptional and would recommend Hannah and her team to everyone and anyone. The food was great and getting context and background to places helped, and we felt well cared for and safe with these amazing guides. bikes came with helmet, and the itinerary was well thought out.

Stella and her staff were amazing and very helpful in making sure our experience was the best. Even though kt started raining, they did not hesitate to lend us their umbrella and ponchos. They also provided a detailed explanation of the food and the history behind it; will recommend to my friends and family

Rae & her team were wonderful guides! we only had 3 people in our group so it was really nice for us since we were all introverts (my partner and I, and a stranger who joined in). I enjoyed learning about the history of the dishes and the areas we went to, and talking a bit about my culture with the guides. I highly recommend this experience with those who want a true taste of the foods HCMC has to offer. Very safe and courteous riders, and photo ops provided along the way!

The tour was amazing! From the second we met our drivers they were so welcoming. I had julie and she was especially lovely, it was so nice to get to know her. The food tasting was incredible, very good to get to try all different types of vietnamese foods. Getting to see the local areas was interesting too. Our organiser Thi went above and beyond for a fantastic experience. Everyone made the tour very memorable! thank you so much

The scooter food and sight seeing tour with female riders was amazing! Our guide Jane along with Rachael and Kaylen looked after us all so well, navigating the crazy traffic and making us feel really safe - especially our 12 year old daughter. Yummy food from local vendors. Great cultural experience. We would highly recommend!

Life’s adventure starts just one decision and a click away (ok a few actually, 😆) Signing up a 1:1 scooter tour with Saigon Adventure is one that i don’t regret and will highly recommend! signing up for a 12 dish tour, i was lucky enough to be matched with Rae, my personal guide. fluent in english, communications and conversations never cease to surprise and enlighten me with the wealth of knowledge she has with HCMC. Taking extra caution when we first started the tour, she taught me how to board her bike, what to look out for on the exhaust pipe, made sure i was comfortable throughout the bike ride. What i noticed beyond the tour were the connection she had with the vendors we visited. It’s not transactional but deep personal connection where she cared for the older vendors who were making ends meet. If you want to know more, engage Saigon Adventures and pray that you get Rae (though i’m sure other guides are personable and converse as well too) 100% recommend! 👍🏻☺️

Very worth to go on this tour. As a first timer solo traveler in Vietnam, was glad to be able to look into the local cuisine and history which are frequented by locals. The tour guides, Cary and Lucy were very friendly and engaging. Furthermore, my rider, Annie was very friendly and had a great time movjng from places to places. Overall, had a pleasent experience and would 10/10 recommend.
