You will be taken to the activity site and begin your Nomad Safaris 4WD off road tour. You will explore the abandoned gold mining area of Arrow River and even do some gold panning yourself! You will also witness some filming locations used in the hugely successful trilogy, The Lord of the Rings. After your rugged road four wheel drive, you will embark on an exhilarating jet boat journey through the narrow canyons of Shotover River.

Very exciting activity, the off-road vehicle driving is explained very well, and it will take you to experience gold panning and jet boat excitement, which is worth the ticket price~
The way to get on the bus is to ask at the visitor center to know where to meet. Previously, the system did not send any information to us, so although we arrived early, we did not know where to meet and were late.
Our tour guide Adrien is a passionate young man who knows everything he knows, and the tour was joyful and heart-warming. Gold panning and off-roading on the river bank are fun, and jet boating is great, but it’s a bit cold in May😆
I had a very good experiences for 4WD as a private group(3person). My guide is a young boy 20 years old but he is very kind and friendly. The trip spends around 3 hours both shotover jet and Nomad 4WD. Let try the new experiences in New Zealand.

The tour guide was very attentive in introducing the itinerary and arranged it well for the itinerary that could not be completed by oneself. Following the jet boating activity, it was very professional and safe to play.

The jet boat is very exciting and fun, suitable for everyone.
