If you go to Adelaide, Cleland Wildlife Park Tour is a must to visit! You get the experience to touch koala and the kangaroo! They have all sort of birds as well! And you can have a rest at the cafe and enjoy a hot cup of coffee/tea with some meals. I had so much fun!
Everyone should go to the Cleland Park. So close to touch the Koala and feed the Kangaroos. The wetland is also a good spot to see the pelicans and emu.
On the day of the activity, I arrived at the pickup location and was waiting for the driver when the driver sent an email claiming the pickup car had broken down. The trip was canceled on the spot, very abruptly, with no follow-up. In the end, my family and I had to pay for our own transportation and admission tickets. Although I have informed Pure SA to request a full refund, I still haven't received a response from them after several days. Their lack of communication is very disappointing, so I do not recommend this activity and give it a poor rating.
Good to know
- Minimum age is 4 years old, all children under 18 must be accompanied by a fare paying adult
- Cleland entry fee includes the koala close-up experience, additional koala hold experiences are available for an additional fee
- We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes, a hat, and sunglasses
- In the winter months an umbrella and/or rain jacket are recommended
- This tour is partially guided, one of our guides will be with the group for the first half of the tour, the second half allows you to explore the park at your own pace
