Stepping into this magnificent palace of music, the first feeling isn't shock, but awe. Above, intricate carvings and a stained-glass dome; before you, layers of organ pipes stacked upon each other, as if the entire wall is waiting to breathe. The four rows of keyboards stand silently, yet seem ready to awaken the soul of the entire space at any moment. Light streams in from the stained-glass windows, gold and red intertwining to create a warm and solemn atmosphere, causing one to unconsciously slow their pace. Standing before the stage, I suddenly understand that music has never been just sound, but a combination of architecture and art. Every pipe, every arch, every mosaic is paving the way for sound. When the melody sounds, it's not just the air that vibrates, but the entire space and the hearts of the people within. Here, I felt that humanity's pursuit of beauty can be so ultimate and pure.
We booked the 10 AM session, and it's recommended to arrive 15 minutes early. The meeting point is located after passing through the lobby and the central bar seating area. If you can't find it, you can ask the staff. Show your ticket, and they will tell you where to gather. I really enjoyed the tour. In addition to the introductory video and the explanations of the venue's history and architectural design, there was also a live pipe organ music performance. Although the performance time was brief, it's a great alternative for those who don't have time to arrange a music program. I personally highly recommend it. You can also freely explore the facilities after the tour, which I think is great! 😁
skipped the queue and walk straight to entrance with the QR code. We have 2 adults and 2 kids, we bought only 2 adult tickets from klook (they don’t offer kids tickets), and I was skeptical about how the kids can enter at first. I asked klook customer service and they confirmed my kids (9 years old) can enter for free without booking a kids ticket. At the entrance, the staff said kids also need to get a ticket although it’s free but they just let us in.
The visit was fantastic, and the experience exceeded expectations. The place offers so much to explore and appreciate, making it truly worth the time. Every aspect of the location is well-maintained, and the atmosphere is inviting. Definitely a must-see for anyone looking for a memorable experience.
It took about 30 minutes on foot to get there from the hotel near Sagrada Familia. I arrived 15 minutes before my reservation, but I was able to get in right away. I never got bored of looking at the stained glass, decorations, chandeliers, etc., so I started by looking up at the ceiling from the first floor and admiring the stained glass and paintings on the stage. However, you can't go forward past a certain point. After that, I went to the third floor and looked around, sitting back and relaxing, looking over the whole view and even closer to the stained glass ceiling. I stayed there for about 45 minutes, including the break. On the way back, I had some food at the La Boqueria Market, about a 10-minute walk away, before heading home.
Absolute gem of Barcelona architecture totally worth visiting. stained glass windows, marvelous architecture, fantastic main hall decorated with columns, and breath taking ceiling. During my tour I also had a chance to enjoy the music played on the scene.
Simply present the QR code to scan and you are in. Fantastic architecture and atmosphere. Recommend to buy concert ticket if you are there to have a better experience.
Absolutely gorgeous and completely worth visiting! The architecture is incredibly beautiful. I booked my tickets through Klook, which was super fast and convenient—they just send you a QR code for easy entry. I highly recommend taking the guided tour because it gives you access to the stage area. However, even if you only have time for a quick look around, getting a regular ticket to see the breathtaking interior is still totally worth it
