What to expect
Queenstown is New Zealand's adventure capital, if you are looking for adrenaline, but bungy jumping and skydiving are too extreme, the Kawarau Zipride is the perfect alternative. After you are strapped with your safety equipment and harnesses, you get to choose which style you want to ride to maximize the rush. Whether you prefer a more comfortable "sightseer" position where you are seated facing forward, or are more daring to try the "batman", seated upside down backwards, there's a unique style to suit you! You'll zoom up to 60kph through three segments of 130m ziplines that hang over the forest floor and you'll catch glimpses of the Kawarau River and Gorge. The Kawarau Zipride is perfect for groups of friends and families as you can ride with up to six people at a time on the three 130m ziplines.

check in process was good..did the self drive option. very fun. very nice views. was able to ride the zipline. very suitable for children. this is just a super chill zipline with a nice view. will comeback again for this. did watch the brave people who did the bungy jump. it looks very fun and thrilling. will comw back for more.
I choose to drive by car. The zipline is very simple. It will end in about 10 seconds. The channel is good. You can bring gopro, and then move it. It ’s fun. Those who are scared and afraid of it are terrible. You can try it. .

Excellent and timely shuttle service, the AJ Hackett bungy centre is about 20-25 mins drive from Queenstown and is a big hub for all activities and has a cafe and merchandise store too. Fun and safe experience at Zip ride!!
