The Open-Air Museum is a very interesting museum with a variety of artworks to appreciate. As it's open-air, it'll be best to bring an umbrella for both rain and sun. Definitely allocate as least 2-3 hours when you visit this. It's a great attraction for kids as well as adults.
The day was rainy but the open air Museum was still fantastic! such beautiful place! we bought umbrellas in the museum (only 5.5AUD) and enjoyed our visit. Our favourite was the beautiful forest walk, kids play area and foot bath. Such beautiful place with so much to do!!
The ticket was incredibly easy to use, and discovering this open-air museum was a great experience, even for teenagers who don't prioritize art. They followed the route with interest. It has the advantage of being engaging and fun.
beautiful grounds with wonderful and whimsical sculpture garden! the Picasso pavilion was excellent and the footpath a nice addition too. glad we made this a priority to our Hakone trip! booking through Klook easy and slightly better price compared to 100¥ savings from free pass discount. able to book right at entrance.
It's very similar to the Juming Museum in Taiwan, with a large park that's definitely worth visiting. However, it's more convenient to come by car. You can probably stay for about two hours, and parking for three hours costs $500.
A wonderful sculpture park with beautiful artsworks in a stunning park. Take your time to discover the sculptures throughout the gardens. Highly recommended.
Beautiful set up, lots of open spaces with different sculptural exhibitions. The exhibits are not difficult to understand for an art amateur like me. It’s subject to weather though, as there’s limited shelter area. There’s a relatively huge aircon rest area next to the footpath.
The park is quite large, and the Klook ticket allows direct entry, which is very convenient. There are many clever designs for taking artistic photos, making it suitable for family outings.
