The location is easy to find; just search for the shop name "Vasara" and navigation will lead you there. Their process (arrive at the store, remove shoes and get a bag, choose clothes, get dressed, get your hair styled, select a handbag, put on shoes or geta, then leave) is quite streamlined. You just need to book your time and package in advance. Dressing and hairstyling can be completed in half an hour if there's no queue, but the important thing is that there are so many clothes to choose from that it can be overwhelming, so you'll need to spend some time on that. There are many staff members who provide both Chinese and English service, making the whole experience very smooth. The value for money could be a bit better. You can return items before 5:30 PM, otherwise an additional fee will be charged.

Although they only offered services in Japanese and English, the staff was incredibly attentive and helpful in assisting me with my kimono selection. After expressing my preferences for purple and lace, they went above and beyond to help me find the perfect one. Some makeup, hair styling, and accessories cost extra, but I felt it was worth it! The hairstylist was also very sweet and kept complimenting me 🤣, which was a great mood booster ❤️. I was really satisfied because my hairstyle was absolutely gorgeous ❤️. Finally, I recommend booking for the 9 AM opening if possible. My daughter and I were able to change in a private room. When we returned to return the kimonos around 3 PM, it was super crowded 😵‍💫, and everyone had to squeeze into one room to change 😵. Just a tip for everyone ❤️.

We had such a lovely time this morning wearing kimono! My girls absolutely loved the experience, their hair was beautifully styled and I don’t think I’ve ever seen them this happy with their hair. They felt so special and confident all day. The service was excellent from start to finish, with staff who were patient, friendly, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Such a memorable experience for our family, highly recommend!

First, the Japanese people are genuinely kind. Second, the price is reasonable; it's neither expensive nor cheap.

Great! We rented the yakuta/kimono on the day of fireworks, instead of paying for next day return, they close at 10:00pm on firework days, so pay extra for that at the store and just return before 9:45pm to have time to change back into your clothing before closing, they keep your shoes, bags or any other clothing and belongings in store till you've returned as part of the service. Recommended! Efficient and kind! Super fast in and out, they speak some English, but not necessary for the experience!

Booked at their flagship store, it was pretty easy to find from the station. The staff were very helpful with each step. Even with the basic/quick package there were plenty of kimonos and obi belts to choose from. Would definitely come back to try the other packages.
