What to expect

As any visitor to Taipei knows, the quaint and historic hillside village of Jiufen is arguably the number one place to visit near Taipei. But it's not the most convenient place to get to - until now! The weather was very cold, but fortunately the trip included pick-up and drop-off, so the entire trip to Jiufen was very comfortable. The sky lantern was released successfully. Thanks to Klook for providing great travel products, so I can spend a day traveling lazily without planning.

Can I come back from Jiufen the next day ?

This bus only provides a same-day return. If you would like to stay overnight in Jiufen, please make sure that you tell the driver so that the driver and passengers on the bus won’t wait for you unnecessarily. Please note that you won’t get any compensation if you don’t take the return journey. You will have to organize your own transport back the next day when you decide to return.

Does a 15 month old baby need to buy a ticket?

Yes, all travelers must buy a ticket, even babies. The price is the same as for adults. The charge is mainly for the operator to buy insurance for every passenger.

Do we have time to go to Shifen waterfall and to fly lanterns at Shifen?

Not quite enough. We suggest you just fly the lanterns and walk along Shifen Old Street. Since it takes about 40 minutes just to walk to and from Shifen Waterfall.

Can multiple people book in the same car at one time?

This activity is a group trip. If you need to arrange for the same car, it is recommended that you place the same order.

Can I put a stroller in the car?

If you want to bring it, you still need to inform us for confirmation to avoid insufficient space.

Can I leave my luggage in the car?

You can leave your luggage in the car, but it is still recommended that you carry valuables with you.

If I want to stay in Jiufen on the return trip without taking the bus back to Ximending, is that okay?
