Special Itinerary Reminder
Registration Information
- The establishment of an online order does not guarantee a successful reservation; it is still subject to confirmation by our company's sales personnel. Promotional offers cannot be combined; only one can be selected.
- This individual or package tour requires a minimum of 6 people (inclusive) to proceed (please note! Infants under two years old are not counted in the minimum number of participants). If the tour cannot proceed due to insufficient flights or not meeting the minimum number of participants, a full refund will be issued.
- After the traveler registers, and the supplier processes and confirms availability, the supplier's sales personnel will notify you to make a deposit. You must complete the contract and pay a deposit of NT$5000 per person within 24 hours of notification. If overdue, the flight seats and room reservations will not be held, and the traveler may not claim any form of compensation or damages. When ordering, please provide the following information: [traveler's name, ID number, date of birth, contact person's phone number (mobile number), accommodation room type, number of rooms] for timely processing.
National Holiday Period Ordering Notes
- During national holidays, due to airline regulations, all passenger bookings must be made manually, and each order can accommodate a maximum of four passengers. If the number of passengers on a single order exceeds four, there is a very high probability that the excess passengers will be split to take different flights. Passengers are kindly requested to understand and take note.
- During national holidays, seat availability is subject to the airline's confirmation after our company submits a request. Please note! During national holidays, specific flights cannot be designated; we will provide flights with available seats. After the traveler pays the deposit, successful booking requires immediate ticketing and payment. Subsequent cancellations or changes will incur necessary fees. If you cannot agree to this, please do not purchase!
- If the seat is canceled after ticketing, or if the passenger requests to change the flight date, flight number, passenger name, ID number, or date of birth, it will be considered a cancellation and a new reservation and ticketing will be required. The original ticket issued has no refund value.
- If the trip cannot proceed due to insufficient availability or failure to meet the minimum number of participants, a full refund will be issued. We appreciate your understanding.
Air (Boat) Ticket Regulations
- If, after ticketing, the passenger requests to change the flight (or ship) date, flight (or ship) number, passenger name, ID number, or date of birth, it will be considered a cancellation and rebooking and re-ticketing will be required, with additional charges for fare difference and refund processing fees.
- Group tickets cannot be pre-assigned, nor can aisle or window seats be specified. Seat arrangements are handled by the airline (or shipping company), and companions may not be seated next to each other. We appreciate your understanding.
- If the sales representative informs you before departure that a concessionary ticket for persons with disabilities has been issued, please bring your disability handbook and relevant identification documents on the day of departure for verification. If you do not have the relevant identification documents, please make up the difference yourself on site.
Accommodation and Dining Information
- Due to factors such as weather and the difficulty of transporting supplies, the Matsu outlying islands have higher humidity. Accommodation quality is based on cleanliness and tidiness. The hardware facilities of hotels are equivalent to guesthouses, inns, and B&Bs on Taiwan's main island. If you have any concerns, please consider carefully whether to register.
- Accommodation resources on the restricted outlying islands are limited; most are guesthouses rather than hotels, and the number of rooms is small. Groups or multiple travelers on the same booking may be accommodated in different guesthouses. We are unable to guarantee specific accommodations; hotel or guesthouse assignments will be based on the itinerary confirmation. If travelers cannot agree to this, please do not place an order.
- Vegetarian options and variety are relatively limited in the Matsu outer islands, with most dishes prepared using ingredients such as vegetables and tofu. Vegetarian travelers are advised to prepare their own vegetarian canned goods/instant noodles, etc., for contingencies. We appreciate your understanding.
- Due to regional reasons, some B&Bs/hotels in Matsu do not offer buffet or shared-table breakfast. Instead, a simple breakfast will be provided or a meal refund (approximately NT$50 per person) will be issued. We appreciate your understanding.
- Starting from April 1, 2022, in the Matsu area, in order to maintain the Earth's original appearance and sustain its resources, guests are invited to join in protecting the Earth. The tour will no longer provide disposable bottled mineral water, disposable tableware, and disposable hotel amenities (toothpaste, toothbrushes), etc. Guests are kindly requested to bring their own reusable cups, chopsticks, and toiletries to reduce plastic and carbon emissions, conveying value through principles and supporting principles through action.
Traffic Information
- The tour itinerary will involve "shared vehicles" and combined guided operations locally.
- The buses on the Matsu outlying islands are older and have all passed legal inspections. However, due to insufficient vehicle resources, they need to be dispatched daily and operate as a shuttle service (without fixed vehicles). During peak season, there is a possibility of changing vehicles daily. Tour guides may also change daily for each island depending on the itinerary. If travelers cannot agree to this, please do not place an order.
Tour Description
- This tour does not include a Taiwanese tour leader. You need to go to the airport yourself to find the group's send-off staff to check in. Upon arrival in Matsu, a local tour guide will arrange the subsequent itinerary.
- When boarding a plane or ship, you should carry valid identification documents issued by domestic or foreign government agencies that have a photo and match the name and identification number on your ticket (e.g., ID card, NHI card, passport, ARC, or entry permit to Taiwan), to be ready for inspection and verification.
- Pre-departure briefing materials will be provided 2 days before departure. However, domestic flights are susceptible to scheduling changes due to peak season and weather conditions. Should there be any adjustments or changes to flight times, passengers will be notified one day before departure.
- If the travel itinerary is affected by the flight's departure/arrival time, the tour sequence will be adjusted as necessary. (All itinerary content will be completed)
- If there are changes to the itinerary or meal sequence, the local reception will take precedence. If the number of meals needs to be increased due to flight factors, meal booking services can be provided or handled independently; if the number of meals is reduced due to flight factors, the meal cost will be refunded locally.
- The seasonal Blue Tears are a natural ecological phenomenon that can only be seen when the weather and humidity conditions are suitable and moonlight pollution is at its lowest on that day. The conditions for its formation are unpredictable, and there is no guarantee that it will be seen. We apologize for any inconvenience if it cannot be seen on the day of your visit.
- The flight times used for the itinerary are as follows (calculated based on flight departure time): [Morning flights: 06:00 to 11:30], [Afternoon flights: 11:31 to 17:00], [Evening flights: 17:01 to 21:30]
Force Majeure Contingency Plan
- Three days before departure:
Establish an emergency response center to decide whether to proceed with the trip.
Propose an appropriate postponed departure date.
Notify all group members and inform them of the postponed date. - On the day of departure - if irresistible natural disasters or other events (such as dense fog) affect the aircraft's take-off and landing times:
An emergency response center will be established at the airport (with ground staff acting as coordinators).
Before the original flight is notified of cancellation, passengers must continue to wait at the airport for the take-off time as per regulations.
After the original flight is notified of cancellation, ground staff will arrange an alternative flight. If passengers do not wish to wait and want to cancel their trip, incurred fees will be charged (including airfare, accommodation, transportation fees, and local administrative handling fees).
If it is confirmed that the aircraft will not take off, assistance will be provided to help passengers return to their departure point (transportation costs to be paid by the passengers themselves) or to help change to other travel routes. - After departure:
Due to force majeure factors causing delays or detentions of water transport flights (including main island routes, outlying island routes, and inter-island routes), any resulting changes in itinerary and associated costs will be settled on-site with refunds or additional payments as necessary.
Due to force majeure factors causing a change in the original destination airport for the outbound flight, for example, from Nangan Airport to Beigan Airport or Beigan Airport to Nangan Airport, the shuttle boat fare between Nangan and Beigan will be NT$250 per person. Passengers will pay this fee to the local tour guide or accompanying staff upon arrival at the first airport.
Due to force majeure factors causing the cancellation of the original return flight, and a change to another destination or ferry service to return to Taiwan, any additional transportation costs incurred will be paid by the passenger on-site.
Due to force majeure factors causing the cancellation of the original return flight and being stranded in Matsu, arrangements will be made for local accommodation and transportation back to Taiwan. Accommodation and transportation costs during the period of being stranded will be reimbursed based on actual expenses by the stranding insurance (NT$1000 per person per day). If there are any excess costs, the passenger will pay the difference on-site. (Meals are at the passenger's own expense)
