Mount Fuji , Makaino Farm, Lake Tanuki, Arakurayama Sengen Park tour

The driver contacted us via WhatsApp and email one day in advance regarding the hotel pickup. Today, it was just the two of us, and the company didn't cancel the tour, which we were very impressed by. The driver upgraded us from a minivan to an Alphard, making the 2-3 hour journey much more relaxing. The driver picked us up at the hotel at 8:00 AM, and we arrived at our first destination, Arakurayama Sengen Park, at 9:50 AM. The uphill climb was quite tiring if you rushed, but the descent was very easy. We stopped to buy takoyaki and strawberries at the bottom. Our second stop was Lawson. We chose to walk to the side street and take photos by the train tracks first, then returned to take photos at the front, where we had to queue to get a good view for everyone. The driver bought us water and pudding to try; thank you for your kindness. The driver asked if we were hungry at 11:30 AM, so we had lunch not far from Lawson, which took an hour. Then, we traveled 50 minutes to Lake Tanuki. The weather was cool and windy, and unfortunately, Mount Fuji was obscured by clouds on this side, but the atmosphere was peaceful with few tourists. We spent about an hour there and then traveled 10 minutes to the farm. The entrance fee was 1200 yen, and animal feed was 100 yen per serving. We had two hours there. The driver was Chinese but spoke fluent English.

Xiao Quan our assigned guide has been very attentive and caring especially for our kids. Kids enjoyed the farm very much, highly recommended for families that wish to see Mount Fuji and also have some fun

It was a great day trip experience. Our driver and guide, Master Shi, was very attentive. He explained each attraction before we arrived, managed the schedule perfectly, and was happy to take photos for us. We were truly grateful to see Mount Fuji despite the unstable weather.

It would be more satisfying if we could spend two hours at Arakurayama Sengen Park, as there are many photo opportunities and local delicacies there, and we didn't have enough time to fully enjoy them.

Overall, it was good. I just felt that a little more time at Lake Tanuki would have been even better.

This trip included four excellent attractions, and my children especially loved the Makaino Farm. Lake Tanuki was a pleasant surprise, with Mount Fuji looking beautiful in front of the lake. Next was the scenic Lake Kawaguchiko Lawson photo spot. The only downside was that we didn't have enough time at Arakurayama Sengen Park, and my children weren't able to go up to the Chureito Pagoda.

The driver contacted us a day in advance to confirm the pickup location and time. After each drop-off, they would also send a message reminding us of the meeting time and place. The driver's attitude was excellent; they were friendly and polite. The itinerary was packed, but the time spent at each attraction could have been longer, especially at the ranch, where we didn't have enough time. Overall, it was very good, and the children loved it.

Today, we completed our Mt. Fuji day trip, and we were so lucky to see Mt. Fuji 🗻! The vehicle was comfortable, and our driver, Master Shi, drove steadily and safely. He was also very knowledgeable, which was great. However, I felt that the Tanuki Lake stop on the itinerary lacked scenic value, and we had 80 minutes allocated for it. Our family only stayed for 10 minutes before wanting to get back in the car to rest. We were able to inform Master Shi early, and he arranged for us to get back in the car sooner, which was excellent! 👍🏻

It was a great experience, and a special thanks to driver Mr. Shi for his help. Due to traffic, some of our plans were delayed, but the driver was still happy to take us to a souvenir shop (even though it was already 7:30 PM and the store closed at 8:00 PM). He was truly thoughtful, and my girlfriend and I were very satisfied with this trip.
