This dessert making class is fun and you guarantee to take home delicious dessert after class. This class is suitable for every one, regardless of how artsy you are. The instructor is fluent in English and was fun to have conversation with. The atmosphere is causal and friendly. Highly recommend this for everyone, so you can enjoy an hour or so of peaceful moment making beautiful dessert. Their location is very accessible by train and it is right next to the station exit. You will be provided a detailed direction to get to the place.
My sister and I took this class together. The class is a great experience and I fully recommend. The instructor is the sweetest lady. The dessert making is fun and beginner friendly. We chose this over a full meal cooking class and it is definitely the correct choice.
Our second day in Seoul it was pouring rain and luckily we had this booked. This was a perfect day to enjoy this! It was just us and one other person there which made it very personal. She was so sweet and helpful in teaching us how to make them. My 16 year old daughter loves to bake and decorate and this was perfect. She even recommended a local restaurant (see pic) where we were the only non Koreans and our waitress was very patient with us snd helpful when it came to ordering!
Had an amazing time learning how to make traditional bean paste cakes:) it was so good and fun that we came back the next day to bake an awesome cake. We scrolled through their instagram and realized that they were amazing bakers and they have other baking classes apart from the 2 listed on Klook. 2 amazing bakers/artist that makes the session so alive and fun! will be back for sure when I return to seoul!:)
It was a lot of fun. We made 6 rice cakes each. An the teacher helped us with everything and told us about the history and how they are viewed today. It was a lot if fun and we loved eating them with tea the next day.
I would describe this as a decorating class more than a cooking class because the mung bean pastry was already cooked when we came. It would also be best if there was a bit of discussion on the history of these desserts. Nevertheless, I love dessert making so I enjoyed learning tips and tricks on how to create cute designs.
My children and I had such a great experience. The teacher was friendly and explains the steps very well. Even my 9yrs old son was able to follow easily and was excited about his “art work”. This is definitely one of the most memorable experience for us. I highly recommend this class.
class starts on time and the teacher is very friendly! she explains steps clearly and makes it easy to follow even for beginners! the place is cosy and inviting, making the learning process even more enjoyable!
We spent a rainy afternoon in Seoul enjoying making rice cakes with careful instruction and chill music. Even as novices they turned out very pretty, and they were tasty too. A lovely way to spend some time and to do something a bit different. It's super handy for the subway line too!
Super fun! I was the only student last Saturday afternoon, so I got a one-on-one with Jenny, Sunny’s sister who was very patient and funny. We made about half a dozen of the rice cakes, and learning how to form the dough felt like intricate play, with very satisfying results. They tasted good too, though it might be an acquired taste for some. Do bear in mind that you don’t actually make the dough and the filling from scratch, but it was still a worthwhile experience. The location was also very easy to find. Would definitely try their other baking classes in the future.
