Review for: Grand Canyon West Rim Day Tour with Hoover Dam & Nature

Showed up at our hotel right on time. Got us promptly to the sights with great details and stories. On our way to Grand Canyon our van was struck by another car that had collided with a car that pulled out in front of them. No fault of our driver. Mike stayed to file a report with AZ State Police. Once it was wrapped up we finished our trip to Grand Canyon. The company shuttled a new van to even though ours was still drivable. It was all handled professionally. Ultimately a great tour with a bit of an interruption.

Our tour guide Troy is so nice, and patient for everything. He makes our day. It’s my first time to Grand Canyon, and I highly recommend Troy from Ameri Trip. We took a van to Grand Canyon, it’s comfortable. If you’re looking for one day tour, you may try this supplier.

I'm extremely satisfied with this experience. The foreign tour guide was incredibly enthusiastic during the introduction and tour (even though I couldn't understand him), but thankfully there was a Chinese-speaking guide to translate (though the Chinese guide was just okay). The entire itinerary was very well planned. I would definitely participate in other one-day tours in different countries in the future, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

First, we encountered various issues even before the tour day. Just a few hours before the tour was scheduled to begin, and late at night, the departure time was changed to an earlier one. The notification arrived at midnight. What if we had already been asleep and hadn't noticed? Additionally, we received a message via social media asking us to select our lunch preference and reply within an hour. This is another instance where we might not have noticed immediately. Why wasn't this confirmed at the time of booking or much earlier? On the day of the tour, we faced the next problem as soon as we met the guide. We had specifically requested a Chinese-speaking guide when booking this tour. However, at the start of the tour, we were assigned a guide who only spoke English. When we directly informed the guide that we preferred a Chinese-speaking guide, a Chinese guide who was accompanying other customers was assigned to us. Despite this, no explanations were provided in Chinese. When we asked, the guide would only take photos for us. Can this truly be called a guide? All explanations from the guide were given in English. Furthermore, Klook stated that admission tickets to Hoover Dam were included, but in reality, we only viewed it from the outside and did not enter the interior. And while lunch was included, it was not the lunch offered at the Grand Canyon West restaurant; instead, we were only provided with simple food like sandwiches. Do not book this tour. I have traveled to many countries, but this is the first time I have encountered a travel company that provides such terrible service.
