Reviews
very fun class in small groups - usually 1 or 2 people only. English was understandable. only point of improvement is that it’s quite a pricey experience and it’s hard to bring home anything if you’re a foreigner.
This was one of the best experiences I have done. Demi was an amazing instructor, super helpful, very knowledgeable, and fun to talk to! I highly recommend this class to anyone interested in Ikebana or flowers in general.
This was my first time trying ikebana and I was able to have a fun and informational experience with seasonal flowers taught by Demi who carefully guided us through the process. We were able to take the arrangements home and we're served local sweets and tea at the end. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to immerse themselves in Japanese culture.
I really enjoyed today’s workshop. I learned a lot and tried two different styles of ikebana creations. I recommend it.
They provide an easy-to-understand introduction to Ikebana and its theories, and are very helpful in guiding beginners to try simple arrangements. They also answered various questions well and were friendly, making it a very enriching experience.
For the Japanese flower arrangement class, the instructor first explained the different types of Japanese flower arrangements, then taught us how to use Japanese floral scissors, and then guided us step-by-step on how to complete our work. The instructor's English was very good, and the explanation was very clear. It was a rare opportunity to try Japanese flower arrangement in Japan, and I'm very satisfied!
Perfect ! Very interisting and i can’t wait to tecreate what we’ve learn at home !!
The vibes were great and you get to know the basics of ikebana, which is awesome. I love how my piece turned out! However, I found it very pricey for what you get. There was no tea available as it’s mentioned, and if you want to take your creation home, you will get only the flowers and sadly, they won’t last long.
