  • The moon silhouette photo spot next to Yuwang Palace, shot against the light, can capture the stunning outlines of flying eaves and the night sky, with red walls, black tiles, and lantern halos intertwined, easily creating a grand ancient-style atmosphere.
  • The Qingming Yuwang Festival is a Chongqing municipal intangible cultural heritage event, strictly replicating ancient rituals such as welcoming gods, offering wine, and performing ceremonial dances, tracing the roots of immigrant culture in a solemn atmosphere.
  • The "hidden gem" of the mountain city's night view, the night tour experience at Huguang Guild Hall is an immersive aesthetic model, seamlessly connecting the charm of day and night.
  • The instant surprise of Sichuan opera face-changing, the solemn ritual music of Yuwang's blessing, and the bustling market atmosphere of hotpot slang are all hidden in this ancient stage.
  • Green bricks and black tiles conceal ancient charm, carved beams and painted rafters embody ingenuity! Come to Huguang Guild Hall and step into the Ming and Qing dynasties' splendor.
  • Originally built in the 24th year of Emperor Qianlong's reign (1759 AD) during the Qing Dynasty and expanded during the Daoguang period, it is a product of the "Huguang Filling Sichuan" immigration wave during the Ming and Qing dynasties. At that time, merchant groups from various provinces established guild halls in the city to protect the interests of their fellow townsmen and foster camaraderie.
  • The entire complex is built against the mountain, inheriting typical architectural styles from Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Hubei, and the Jiangnan region, while also incorporating traditional Chongqing architectural features. It adopts a courtyard layout, with its layered firewalls being a major characteristic. The wood carvings, stone carvings, and brick carvings of the guild hall are exquisite, with themes mostly drawn from characters and stories in "Journey to the West" and "The Romance of the Western Chamber," as well as patterns of dragons, phoenixes, flowers, and plants.
  • It includes three main buildings: Yuwang Palace, Qi'an Guild Hall, and Guangdong Guild Hall. Yuwang Palace was built in memory of Yu the Great, and its main hall is a double-eaved hip-and-gable roof structure; Qi'an Guild Hall is dedicated to the Emperor, with a well-preserved stage inside, which is the venue for the "Drunken Bayu" intangible cultural heritage performance; Guangdong Guild Hall is a courtyard-style building, and its stage is renowned for its relief carvings.
  • The mysterious and unpredictable face-changing, the passionate echoes of work songs, and the ancient and elegant dances of "Drunken Bayu" allow you to experience the unique charm of Bayu culture up close.
