Traveler reviews
It's convenient because the bus waits right in front of you when you get off the ferry! It's huge, so give yourself plenty of time. There are many different animals haha. The giraffes with the Harbour Bridge and Opera House views are truly beautiful. It feels like nature and the city coexist. But these days it's so hot that most of the animals are resting or not visible. I recommend going in the afternoon rather than early morning. Everything you buy inside is expensive, so buy it outside if possible~~ The place where you can see tigers is really exciting. I highly recommend it~~ I want to come again next time.
Great experience to start my Birthday! Cruise was fast and an efficient way to get to Taronga Zoo and claiming tickets were fast! Staff at ticketing office, onboard and at the zoo were very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend! 10/10!!
Experience: KLOOK instant confirmation. On the day, first go to Circular Quay Wharf #6 to exchange your ferry and zoo tickets. After arriving at the zoo by ferry, you can choose to take the Free Shuttle to the Main Entrance or walk 300m to the Lower Entrance. The zoo is large with a wide variety of animals, making it suitable for all types of visitors. I chose to go to the Main Entrance first, take my time to explore, and walk towards the Lower Entrance, then head to the pier to take the ferry back to Circular Quay. Overall, it's convenient and easy to manage. I enjoyed 3.5 hours of happy time in the zoo.
Booked my Taronga Zoo tickets with return ferry via Fantasea Cruising and it was such a smooth experience! I travelled solo and the ticket redemption was super easy — ferry arrived right on time. Loved how convenient it was to get to the zoo by ferry while taking in the harbour views. I only had about 3 hours to explore because I had another activity after, but it was definitely worth it. Plenty of food and drink options inside, and the zoo has animals we don’t have back home so I really enjoyed every bit of it. Highly recommend going in the morning for the shows (like the sea lion one) and to see the animals more active. Plus, you’ll get an amazing view of the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House from the zoo! 🦁🦘⛴️
We had an amazing time in Taronga zoo. though the place is huge, we were able to complete all the spots in about 3 hours. the animals seem to be well taken cared of, so that’s lovely. the package also includes ferry ride. just make sure to check the travel times so you dont miss the ferries and buses.
The Taronga Zoo in Sydney is worth a visit. Buying on Klook saves you time queueing at the ticket counter. it ia wasy to use, just show your QR code ticket and they will scan and let you enter already. The zoo is big and a lot of picnic area to eat your packed foods.
Taronga Zoo offers an incredible blend of wildlife adventure and stunning Sydney Harbour views. From seeing kangaroos, Sun Bear, Koalas and Tasmanian devils up close making every part of the visit felt engaging and educational. The zoo places a strong focus on conservation, and many exhibits are interactive, making it perfect for families and animal lovers alike. Though is raining hard, we still have a good time at tre zoo..
Very easy to use! Simply Show your booking and get your tix for the Ferry and the Zoo. The ferry is definitely worth it! Though, every ferry seems to board at 1 place, the Aquarium Wharf, so If you see a big crowd, it's most probably for some other tours cause the ferry for the zoo was EMPTY! and from other reviews, it shows empty as well. Do get the coffee or tea included in the ferry 😉 Also, you can cover everything in the Zoo within the hours from first ferry 0925hrs Darling Harbour to Zoo then to 1615hrs Zoo to Darling Harbour. I know it can be abit pricey but for the Experience, worth it!!!
