Great place to spend the afternoon. The dinosaur exhibit and the sperm whale exhibit were the highlights. Since it was a weekday the museum was empty which made the sfx a bit eerie. Red crab migration was fascinating.. it took us about 3 hours to see the entire place.

What To Expect

Want to lay your eyes on the three sauropod dinosaur fossils that are more than 80% complete? No, this is not a sci-fi movie. You can see all of that in the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum in Singapore. The museum is a majestic 7-storey building covering a floor space of 8,500 square meters housing over a million regional specimens. Opened in April of 2015, the museum is one of the youngest in Singapore, yet is home to one of the oldest collections inherited from its predecessor — the Raffles Museum of Biodiversity Research. At the museum, you will get to learn about the diversity of life on Earth, travel back in time and see the plants, amphibians, mammals and dinosaurs in 16 thematic zones.

The ticket price is not cheap, museum is small and far from the city. But the presentations are nice, after visiting, you can go around and explore NUS, see the students and eat from the cafeterias, it's nice.

Voucher ia easily redeemed. Just show your voucher to the counter and straight ahead to the museum!

Easy to redeem. The museum has very impressive displays of all studies of organisms, animals and bio life. We managed to catch a few of the guides who were explaining to the school children, they were very informative and detailed. Being a weekday, we practically had the entire museum to ourselves..so it does seem a litle eerie especially when the sounds of dinosaurs were heard occasionally. The sauropod dinosaur bones and the sperm whale bones were the highlight of our visit. But overall it has a very impressive range of living organisms. Makes one think of how different life would be if all we can see of the animals were the replicas behind the glass display.

Amazing displays! Go check out the NUS campus while you're there too

Went on a Friday with my fiance and it was awesome. Fuss free redemption, little crowd and content of exhibits were wholesome!

Nice gallery with REAL dinosaur remains. It would be great if they add some comments under all object displayed. Expect to spend about 3h if you read, and 1.5h if you just watch.

This is a wonderful museum. We spent close to three hours here just walking around and learning new things. It is well-organized with well-thought out and interactive displays. Staff were all friendly. We especially liked the three dinosaurs exhibited in the central area. Five stars!

Well organized museum. Staffs are friendly. Was amazed by the 150-million-year-old diplodocid sauropod dinosaur skeletons!
