Simply brilliant. life-sized sets from iconic films like "Infernal Affairs," "A Better Tomorrow II," and "City on Fire," allowing visitors to literally step into some of Hong Kong cinema's most famous undercover scenes
Such iconic scenes recreated in painstaking detail. You can tell this was curated and executed with the utmost respect for the films and filmmaking industry here. A must for HK cop/undercover movie fans, still enjoyable if you've only seen Infernal Affairs like me! It is very popular so do expect to queue to enter and to patiently wait for your turn for photos.
very coop exhibition with all the intesting movie material displayed. Just one thing that more standing space could be reserved for the interview sessions, I would like to stand longer to see what the videos are talking abt.
Fantastic! The venue isn't huge, but it's fully equipped. Classic movie scenes like Infernal Affairs, racing scenes, and triad negotiations in a restaurant (including table flipping!) are recreated with props, sound, and lighting. It's an immersive experience of the cinematic world. It's a shame the exhibition is short-lived; with more promotion, I believe it could attract more tourists who love Hong Kong films.
Truly phenomenal experience! My very first time to step in a mock up built by professional artists. The way they explained undercover job in the movie and the reality via interivews is fascinating. Definitely recommend HK undercover movie fans for a visit.
"Undercover Underworld" is one of Tai Kwun's best recent cultural offerings, perfectly blending nostalgia, artistry, and Hong Kong’s unique cinematic heritage into an engaging, family-friendly package. Booking tickets via Klook is convenient, and the event is highly recommended before it closes.
A truly heartfelt exhibition! You can see the team put a lot of effort into the design and production. Every spot is designed with a cinematic feel. This exhibition has arranged many interactive and photo-op locations, making it hard not to get "into character" ???? I look forward to more exhibitions with other types of film themes. I believe it will attract more and more visitors. It's best to buy tickets in advance, rather than buying them upon arrival.
It's a funny immersive exhibition. I saw the setting and props in the local films. 🎥 What's a wonderful experience.
Instant QR code entry, super convenient. The movie scene recreations and props are meticulously arranged, bringing back memories of the film. At $25, admission is a great value.
it is a very nice exhibition with lots of details about the hong kong movie scene.
