Other Reminders
- Everyone in your group, regardless of age, needs a government-issued ID to enter the Vatican Museums
- Access to the Raphael Rooms is contingent upon crowd conditions, timing constraints, and guard-regulated routes. Including them may not always be feasible. In these cases, your tour guide will exercise discretion to adjust the itinerary, ensuring a high-quality experience
- St. Peter’s Basilica is an active church and can be closed unexpectedly for liturgical ceremonies. If closed, your guide will provide a revised itinerary including more of the Vatican Museums. No compensation is granted in these circumstances
- Saint Peter’s Basilica is closed on most Wednesday mornings due to the weekly Papal Audience. If you book this tour for a Wednesday, the time inside the Vatican Museums will be extended
- During the 2025 Jubilee (24 December 2024–06 Jan 2026), St. Peter’s Basilica may face partial or full closures. If this occurs, your guide will adjust the itinerary with alternative highlights, ensuring the tour’s full duration and quality
- Partial or full refunds cannot be issued due to Basilica closures
- There is no photography allowed inside the Sistine Chapel
- Please note that the Sistine Chapel is a sacred space where silence is required. Your guide will provide a full explanation beforehand to ensure you understand its significance before entering
- Backpacks are not permitted in the museum
- If you believe a disability qualifies you for complimentary Vatican access, please inform the operator
Prohibitions & Limitations
- Participants are advised dress appropriately for this activity (long pants, long-sleeved shirt or scarf to cover shoulders, and closed shoes)
- For smooth entry, please refrain from wearing flip flops, shorts, tank tops, or sleeveless shirts
- This activity is not recommended for anyone with impaired physical mobility
