Reviews summaryBest first access tour guide ever for vatican experience in the early morning with lesser crowd and quick security check. We chose th small group of 8 where we could truly experience the journey and asked as many questions as we could. Credit to our guide, Lora, where she explained the artpieces and history of Vatican Museums, Sistine chapel, courtyard and Basilica in very slow and detail manner.
Fantastic experience! We got a very good guide Martina, who speaks fluent English. She is funny and very communicative and very willing to help. She took us through the Vatican Museums and took us through Sistine Chapel and went through with us key things to watch. Appreciate her taking us also into the rooms of Ralphaelle and saw "the school of Athens". love it. We also got to Basilica De Saint Pietro thru VIP access, which saves tremendous amount of time. We also got through the Holy Door which opened this year Jubilee year every 25 years. Amazing. Immediately on the right we saw Michelangelo's Pietà. Also Baldaccino in the Basilica is also amazing. Must see. This tour has so much to see. so enjoyable!
We were a group of 9, which made our Vatican tour a private group, and it was fantastic from start to finish. The 2-hour ish tour was seamless and highly recommended. Elisa was warm, friendly, and very informative—explaining everything clearly and patiently, especially with the kids. She was also flexible and adjusted the tour based on what we wanted to see, which made the experience even more personal. Her deep knowledge truly amazed us and brought the Vatican to life. She kept us engaged by asking questions throughout, making the tour interactive and fun. We highly recommend her!
Opted for a Chinese tour guide. look out for a person with touring panda card at giuly cafe. tour was bout 3hrs. knowledgeable guide. cannot imagine getting into and around Vatican city without an experienced guide. I have to end the tour earlier because the weather was too hot in July. overall experience was great and will recommend this tour to my friends
we had a great time going through the Vatican museum. it was useful having a guide as there were simply too much to see. our guide showed us exactly what to look at and the history of it. we had an amazing time. it was a shame the tour doesn’t allow access into the basilica anymore. we were told in advance and had made booking separately but it seemed like there were other tours that allowed to access the basilica directly
If you are into an art and history, you should definitely book this activity. Otherwise, you will never know the interpretations or the story behind the paintings and the artist. We were guided by Catalina and she explained some interesting facts about Michelangelo and his paintings in Sistine Chapel.
This was one of the best tours I have experienced in Vatican City. Unfortunately, the tour guide was not present; they provided the tickets via SMS. We had to use the tickets and navigate ourselves. For St. Peter's Basilica, we were not allowed to use the skip-the-line tickets because the guide was absent, so we had to wait. Overall, it was a good experience, though I believe they might need to improve their service. Otherwise, everything was good.
must do tour in Rome! the guide we got was great and not boring. we got the earliest time slot and didn’t have problems getting in. we were just 5 in our group which made it even better
Martina was our guide. It was a wonderful good to get a skip the line ticket in the Jubilee year. We learned alot from Martina who radiated infectious energy! 100% recommend people who’d like to visit the Vatican museum to sign up for this tour. I wish the trip to St Peter’s basilica was guided too.
Meet the Eco Art staff at Via Tunisi, 4 (you can use Google Map to locate it). The tour guide will distribute tickets and guide machines, and then take you into the museum. The whole tour takes a full two hours, and the explanation is very detailed and rich. If there are exhibition halls or works that you want to stop and see in particular and don’t want to follow the tour guide, you can also go on your own after entering the museum. Highly recommended itinerary!
