Ubud: Incense Making Workshop with Free DIY Incense Kit

I participated in an incense-making workshop for the first time. The location is very convenient, close to a tourist attraction! It was so much fun to make my own organic, handmade incense with my favorite scent! Even children can do it, so next time I'd like my daughter to join. I'm really looking forward to using the incense once it dries! The staff were all very friendly and kind, making it a wonderful experience! Everyone visiting Ubud should definitely try it! The teacher is very knowledgeable and starts by explaining the history of incense sticks. Then, step by step, they guide students in selecting their favorite base fragrance powder, as well as middle and top note fragrance powders. Each scent has a different healing effect, and you can mix and match according to your needs and preferences. Next, they teach how to knead the fragrance powder into a fragrance ball and then make incense sticks or cones. At the end, they will give you some fragrance powder to take home and make your own! If you make all incense sticks, they will be packaged in banana leaves, which is super cute! 🥰
