What to expect
Back in the old days of China, seals were symbols of authority and power. These pocket-size stamps were used exclusively by the government to signify the importance of a document and the owner. Only the most talented craftsmen were trained to carve intricate Chinese characters into seals, a specialization that built seal carving schools throughout the country. But today, the once mysterious traditional art form can now be learned through an hour-long workshop at Aura Art in Hong Kong. Gain basic skills with the help of an expert tutor in just a short amount of time and be able to create your own right after the class. Learn the use of each and every tool laid out on your table - all of which you can use for as long as you want. Follow a simple pattern on a sample by watching your tutor's step-by-step demonstration. Once you get the hang of it, you can now chisel away and recreate a Chinese character you like. End the class with your finished product that will serve well as a great souvenir of your Hong Kong trip. Join the workshop now through Klook!

Had a really cute experience creating our own seals. The process is well instructed and we came away with some really nice souvenirs which still sit on our shelf. Maybe a touch on the pricey side and I would say steady strong hands help a lot!
at first, we cant find the location. because its not what written address in actual address, if you have similar problem with me just find aura art in fb. its nice and its always fun to learn something new with the best calligraphy master . thank you very much
it was a fun experience. had an awesome time! teacher was very patient although my name was a bit complicated/tricky… he made it look easy. the result was truly amazing! definitely worth the money spent!
Quite fun to make your own stamp, 1.5hrs was quite enough. Tutor was helpful and friendly ~showed you how the design will look like and provided suggestions.
Super cute activity to do with a partner. My partner is a big fan of these seals and we made one using old seal script of her Chinese name. The space is really nice and the staff were very hospitable. Lots to do here and also saw another room for children's events.
Our family had fun learning to carve our own seals. The instructor was knowledgeable and enjoyed working with us. He also provided information on places to visit to learn more about Chinese culture.
The teacher is nice and talkative. During craving, he pointed out and corrected our mistakes patiently. It is easy to learn and enjoyable.
The instructor has the heart to explain the design of the font knife to the stone, and the strokes are so healing.
Very fulfilling experience. The tutor was very attentive and he always helped when we were stuck. My husband and I had a really love time there
The teacher is very nice and attentive, but unfortunately the teacher is getting older, so his eyesight will always be better. Some knife positions are a bit misaligned, which affects the effect of the finished product. But being considerate is just a bit of a fly in the ointment.
