Eco Cooking and Basket Boat Tour

This tour was amazing and worth every penny. Trang our tour guide was so knowledgeable and made the experience unforgettable. The tour through the market was really cool to see, the coconut boats were fun and the cooking is a great learning experience. The food portions were huge with multiple courses. We were all so full at the end. They were very accommodating to our diet needs as well. Trang taught us a lot about vietnams culinary history. I would do this tour again on our next visit!

Definitely a classic must-do Hoi An activity. We were brought around by van to the Hoi An fresh market, rafting on a coconut boat, and to the Bay Mau for cooking by our one tour guide / chef. Highly recommend this well-organized local tour!

This was such a great experience! I loved being walked through the bustling market and learning about all the different foods was interesting. The class itself was well paced and all the food was amazing. We were a family of 4 and my 6 and 8 year old were able to follow along (with a little help!) I highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting the area!

I loved this cooking tour! First they picked me up from my hotel, our chef then took us to the wet market to get our ingrediants, then we drove to the coconut village. We had the boat ride first, and my lady was lovely, we paddled around she took pictures for me, I spun around in my boat which was really fun, watched a fishing demonstration, and tried catching crabs on my own, my lady and I failed. After that we did the cooking class, the Chef in charge was amazing. First we learnt and got to try making our own fresh rice paper, then we made 2 kinds of spring rolls, Vietnamese pancakes, beef salad, and beef pho. I was so full after, and they provide us with the recipes so you can cook again at home. Then they dropped us off at our hotels. Honestly such a great experience.

Trung was an excellent guide and we had so much fun. The market tour was interesting, the basket boat trip excellent (with lovely boat guides), and the cooking class was brilliant fun. We made delicious food, learnt a lot and had heaps of fun. Stunning setting. Highly recommended.

Nice activity for friends! We got the chance to visit the local market and learnt some fresh ingredients. The chef taught us 4 dishes very nicely and they all tasted good! Very fun (and hot lol) coconut boat. The tour includes pick up service from hotel. The only thing is we waited for the pick-up car for 10mins because the driver went to a wrong hotel. Suggest to double confirm with the guide on whatsapp before the day.

Fantastic cooking experience with Trang! We absolutely loved this experience, originally I was more excited about the prospect of the coconut boats but that ended up being an add on to a great experience! Trang (our tour lead) was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and really made the whole day. The market visit was a particular highlight; shopping together as a group while learning about local ingredients, their origins and foods we’d never come across before. The cooking was really well paced and enjoyable, with Trang explaining everything clearly and always on hand to help. She was incredibly positive, encouraging and clearly passionate about Vietnamese food and sharing her knowledge. A brilliant experience and a great way to learn more about Vietnamese food and culture. We’d definitely recommend it!

There is a special car to pick up the hotel, which is very convenient. The team leader and chef is very professional and the service is very good. He first took us to the market to buy cooking ingredients and also introduced some special Vietnamese ingredients. Then we went to take a coconut boat ride. The boatman was very humorous and enthusiastic. He sang Shanghai Beach to entertain everyone and took us to fish for crabs. We were lucky and caught some crabs but we put them back into the water. After riding the coconut boat, we learned to cook Vietnamese specialties, a total of 4 dishes, and tasted them ourselves at the end. We all enjoyed the trip. I highly recommend everyone to buy it.

Despite the cool and rainy weather this was an amazing experience. The teching chef spoke excellent English, menu was great and delicious, shopping for ingredients and cooking were fun. Totally recommend it.

My guide (Mo) was very enthusiastic and engaging. The basket boat tour was very fun especially since we were lucky that it didn't rain. The food tour was fantastic, we made spring roll, beef noodle salad, banh xeo and beef pho. Highly recommend this to anyone!
