Telaga Waja White Water Rafting in Bali by BTR

This was a very satisfying activity. We stayed in Ubud and were picked up on time. There was some traffic along the way, but we arrived at the river more or less on schedule. Coffee and tea were offered. There was no wait time; the rafting started immediately. You don't have to walk as far as you do at the Ayung River. The rafting is 17 kilometers long and very exciting. The guide spoke Japanese. We stopped at a waterfall along the way where the guide took pictures for us. The waterfall also serves as a rest stop. Drinks and snacks are sold there, and there are also Indonesian-style toilets. After rafting, we showered and had lunch. The lunch included Mie Goreng and Nasi Goreng, which weren't spicy and even kids could eat them.

The Telaga Waja rafting adventure was definitely one of the highlights of our Bali trip! The whole experience was exciting from start to finish. The river itself is perfect for rafting—long, continuous rapids with fewer stops, which made the ride feel more thrilling and immersive. The scenery was absolutely stunning, with lush greenery, waterfalls, and a more natural, less crowded atmosphere compared to other rivers. Our guides were fantastic—very skilled, fun, and safety-conscious. They gave clear instructions and kept the energy high throughout the trip. We felt safe the entire time while still enjoying the adrenaline rush.

Wow just wow! a group of 3 ladies enjoyed the most amazing adventure with Timmy. level 3 rapids over 18kms long with a stop every 6km. The scenery was amazing, the rafting was so much fun, we felt safe the entire time even with a few hairy moments. the drive out takes some time but it was worth it, there’s about 40 steps all up which was easy. after our safety briefing launching the raft was awesome & we listened intently to the instructions as we navigated down the river. a wonderful stop at waterfalls & then for a drink later on. a couple of steep drops & lots of lower lying branches & bridges but so much fun. we have done rafting on Arung river & this adventure on Telaga river far exceeded our expectations. highly recommend this company for an excellent adventure - we are coming back to do it again

Me and my husband are extremely satisfied with this activity. The driver who fetched us from our hotel sent a message thru whatsapp a day before, reminding us about our booked activity. He was on time at the lobby hotel on the day of our activity. He was very nice, warm and polite. He can communicate well in English. The rafting activity was so much fun. Thanks to our guide who also manuevers the boat. He made the experience really amazing. Everybody from the rafting company that welcomed us up until the restaurant were all very kind and accommodating. They treated their guests with utmost care. This is a must do activity in Bali. It’s 18km long and the rapids are nothing but pure rush!! It even rained that day, it made the experience more interesting. There are waterfalls along the obstacles. So, to everyone reading this, include this in your to do things in Bali.

Two and a half hours, very few people, and an excellent experience. It was just the two of us per boat, and the captain was very lively! The entire river had clear, fast-flowing water, perfect for rafting. In the end, we didn't hesitate to give a 100,000 tip! Because

I was a little worried since it was my first time rafting, but the moment I started, all my worries disappeared. I was amazed by the surrounding scenery and thrilled by the rapids. It was the most enjoyable memory of my first trip to Bali with my friends in our mid-50s. The rafting felt safe and thrilling, so I think anyone can try it. I also really enjoyed the simple lunch buffet afterwards, thanks to the perfectly seasoned soup and side dishes.

This was a rafting experience enjoyed in the beautiful natural surroundings of the Telaga Waja River. All three families, including a 10-year-old boy, had a great time and were very satisfied with the activity. The professional rafting guide's leadership was excellent, and the round-trip pickup service from Ubud was also satisfactory. Taking photos was optional, but they turned out better than expected, so we were glad we got them. Highly recommended.

The 2-hour course felt a little long at times, but it was fun to see the various waterfalls and the upper part of the river where the currents were stronger.

Amazing! A must in Bali! The boatman Kuya Blackie is good. We are group of 4 with an eight year old kid. My son enjoyed.

Amazing rafting trip. Gorgeous clear water in the fast running river. Surrounded by rice paddies, forest and picturesque waterfalls. Great guide Win who gave a good briefing & clear instructions. We had a lovely time, laughs, thrills and luckily, no spills. Lots of wildlife to see including birds, butterflies & reptiles such as a monitor lizard and swimming snake. Lunch afterwards was delicious. A great trip with a good company. Thanks BTR for an enjoyable day of rafting.
