Smooth sailing experience on this chartered ride. Driver was approachable and accommodated a few changes of just staying in Kyoto and removing our Nara tour coz he mentioned the Mochi pounding place is closed on Tuesdays. We just decided to visit Arashiyama again 😊. Overall, chartered is always worth it and value for money esp if there are senior passengers. Arigatou gozaimashita! 🫶🏼

this is my 2nd time availing this. i travelled last year with my family, seniors and kids so it was very convenient. 2nd time with friends, ans again very convenient and we had maximize our time in kyoto and nara. the driver doesn’t speak english but was using the google translate app and i appreciate how hard she tried to communicate with us. she also agreed with our customized itinerary. really realy happy with it. will book this again in the next visit.

I was travelling with my family (5 adults, a 3-year old boy and a 7-month old baby) and we wanted to visit Nara Park and some sightseeing places in Kyoto. Booking a private car was a great and convenient choice as we had a stroller and lots of baby stuff to carry with us. We had a Chinese speaking driver, Ken and he was punctual and helpful with some sightseeing tips. The weather was hot and there were massive throngs of tourists and Japanese students on excursions in Nara Park, Arashiyama Bamboo Forest and Fushimi Inari Taisha. Overall, it was a satisfactory trip.

Since we had to leave for the airport around 4 PM, we opted for a half-day private car tour of Kyoto (10 hours). Our driver, Mr. Ma, arrived promptly at 8:00 AM at our hotel near Tennoji to pick us up. The car was very clean and comfortable, and Mr. Ma thoughtfully provided us with water. Mr. Ma speaks Mandarin, which made communication very easy, and he clearly informed us of all pick-up and drop-off locations. The journey from Tennoji to Arashiyama, Kyoto, usually takes about 1.5 hours, but because we departed during Monday morning rush hour, there was some traffic, and it took us nearly two hours to reach Arashiyama. We visited Togetsukyo Bridge, Tenryu-ji Temple, the Bamboo Grove, and rode the Sagano Scenic Railway. We also had lunch and bought souvenirs in the shopping street, which took almost 4 hours, so we didn't have enough time to visit Kinkaku-ji Temple. We were very satisfied with the entire trip; having a private car was incredibly convenient. Highly recommended!
