- In the morning, depart from downtown Shanghai and arrive at Zhujiajiao Ancient Town as the first stop. Stepping into the ancient town is like traveling through time, with Ming and Qing style buildings scattered in an orderly fashion, and white walls and black tiles reflected in the shimmering water. Walking along the narrow flagstone path, you will reach Fangsheng Bridge, the largest five-arch stone bridge in East China. Standing on the bridge, you can take in the panoramic view of the ancient town, with the river flowing gently below and boats shuttling through it.
