Reviews summaryIt's incredibly convenient! No need to wait in line to buy tickets or fumble with change. You can go anywhere, covering all tourist spots in Tokyo. It offers unlimited use. Every time I visit Tokyo, I make sure to buy the 48-hour ticket. I highly recommend it! You can ride the train as much as you want, and you don't have to worry about getting lost.
An absolute must-have for exploring Tokyo! The 48-hour Tokyo Subway Ticket is a total game-changer. It gives you unlimited rides on all Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway lines, which easily cover major hubs like Asakusa, Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Ginza. It pays for itself after just a few rides and saves you the hassle of buying individual tickets or constantly topping up a transport card. Buying it online and scanning the QR code at the station ticket machine to retrieve the physical pass was incredibly fast and easy. Highly recommended!
I found the Tokyo Subway Ticket to be very convenient and I would definitely purchase it again. During my trip, I used both the 72-hour and 24-hour tickets, and unlimited rides made it so much easier to get around Tokyo. We did encounter some minor confusion at the beginning when exchanging our tickets—we weren't clear on which machine to use. Once we asked a station employee and showed them our phones, they immediately directed us to the correct machine, and everything was very straightforward after that. One thing to keep in mind is that the pass doesn't cover every single train line in Tokyo. For example, when we went to the bakery at the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, one of the routes to get there wasn't included. This wasn't a big deal—we just paid the difference—but it's something to be aware of when planning your routes. Overall, these passes are great value for money, easy to use once activated, and incredibly convenient for exploring the city. Highly recommended!
The Tokyo Subway Ticket was super convenient and affordable! Unlimited rides made sightseeing stress-free, and it definitely saved me money while exploring the city. Would definitely book it again when I come back
🎫 Must-get pass if you’re exploring the city! Super convenient and one of the most cost-effective ways to travel around the city. 🚇✨ Even if you accidentally take the wrong side or wrong direction, you can simply re-enter and continue your journey without much hassle! 😆 Definitely worth getting for a hassle-free and budget-friendly way to explore around! 👍🏻
For the skyliner, it is not that convenient for those bringing 2 luggages or more and if you are or with seniors as first timers. Since it will be fast-paced and you may have to place your luggages in the designated areas and exits maybe cramped with other travellers esp if in peak season. Be sure to check your train's car number aside from seat number & letter. But it is fast transport and ticket was easilly obtained as you follow the instruction and pictures in the app. For the subway, I was planning to get my tickets at Nippori station but I was not able to locate the machine and a staff I asked said it was available at Ueno. Once at Ueno, following the video and pics was convenient. And using it was very easy that if you went trhough the wrong entrance (which we did twice), going back does not cost anything. You can literally go anywhere in tokyo as long as you choose the train line it covers. Even if it took us longer and had to change more trains, it was just a breeze.
If you’re planning to explore Tokyo and want to stretch your travel budget, the Tokyo Subway Ticket is an absolute game-changer. It gives you unlimited rides on many of the city’s subway lines, making it perfect for sightseeing, shopping, or simply hopping between neighborhoods without worrying about individual fares. One of the things I love most is how convenient it is—you can easily purchase it at major train stations, airports, or even online before your trip. Once you have it, navigating Tokyo becomes a breeze. No need to fumble for coins or top-up cards; just tap, ride, and go.
The most cost effective way to travel around Tokyo through the Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway lines. I love using this pass whenever I visit Tokyo. 10/10 recommend
It is easy to redeem the Tokyo Subway Ticket from Klook and its available on most station. Its also a cost saving transporation fees that can be used in Tokyo as long that you are using the recommended lines.
Purchase online, and once you arrive in downtown Tokyo, find a subway station machine. Scan the QR code, and the machine will print your ticket. Remember to keep it safe. You can use it freely on Toei and Metro lines, excluding Meguro and JR lines, which is very convenient. This pass is exclusively for foreign visitors, so be sure to take advantage of this excellent privilege!
