What to expect
Rika Wafuku Kimono Rental is a kimono rental shop operated by Japanese staff. Our packages include everything you need for your kimono experience, so you can simply come and rent empty-handed. We offer free luggage storage (excluding large items) to allow you to enjoy your trip with ease. From checking in at the reception to completing the dressing process, it takes approximately 45 to 70 minutes, making it easy to experience even if you have limited time. You are free to choose from all kimonos and yukatas except for Furisode and Homongi styles; lace kimonos are also available at no extra charge. You can also upgrade to Furisode or Homongi styles for an additional fee on-site. The shop is located near several tourist attractions, allowing you to start exploring as soon as you have finished renting. Regardless of when you rent, the fee is the same as long as you return the kimono by 5:30 PM on the same day.

Good to know
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
- Some stores do not have bathrooms, so please come prepared.
- Only service users are allowed to enter the store.
- If you are late, the store will prioritize serving other passengers who arrive on time, so your departure time may be delayed.
- Additional options can be purchased in-store on the day of your service. Please notify the front desk upon check-in.

It was wonderful to be able to wear a kimono and have my hair styled. It was a little disappointing that there weren't many types and patterns of kimonos available. However, the staff were very friendly and easy to talk to, so I would love to use this service again if I have the chance. Thank you for the great memories.
It's the best! It was easy to make a reservation, and the staff were very polite.
The guests in the back can dress and do their hair first, completely out of order. The service attitude is very poor, and the behaviour is also very rude. There is no place to change clothes. Just change your clothes in the makeup area 😂
