What to expect
Depart from Yangshuo in the morning and first head to the Xingping section of the Li River to visit the famous 20-yuan banknote backdrop. Here, you can admire the beautiful scenery of the essence of the Li River and take photos. Afterwards, proceed to the Yulong River, traversing through karst peaks, enjoying the fun of both tranquility and excitement.
After the rafting, head to the Ten-Mile Gallery. This scenic avenue, approximately ten kilometers long, connects pastoral idylls with cultural relics, making it an excellent choice for experiencing "people walking in a painting." Along the way, you can admire attractions such as the Totem Ancient Road and the Big Banyan Tree, feeling the natural and cultural charm of Yangshuo.
Then, choose one of your preferred attractions to visit, such as Butterfly Spring, Silver Cave, Xianggong Mountain, Peach Blossom Spring, or cycling the Ten-Mile Gallery. If you are interested in cultural performances, you can also choose to watch the "Impression Liu Sanjie" or "Guilin Eternal Love" shows, experiencing the perfect combination of Guilin's landscapes and culture.
Warm tips for Yulong River double bamboo rafts: I. Safety and health restrictions (applicable to all raft types)
- Pregnant women, seniors aged 70 and above (including 70), individuals with heart disease, coronary heart disease, high blood pressure, alcoholics, and those with mobility impairments are strictly prohibited from riding the bamboo raft.
- Children above 1 meter (including 1 meter) must ride with an adult, and each child occupies one seat.
- Please take good care of your personal belongings. If items accidentally fall into the water, you must bear the loss yourself.
- Pets are strictly prohibited from riding the raft.
II. Special instructions for double bamboo rafts
- Weight limit: Passengers weighing over 200 jin (100 kg) must charter the entire raft individually (priced as a chartered raft); the combined weight of two people must not exceed 320 jin (160 kg), please be aware.
- Riding restrictions: According to scenic area regulations, pregnant women and disabled individuals are strictly prohibited from riding double bamboo rafts; children under 1 meter and seniors over 70 years old cannot ride double bamboo rafts. Such tourists can choose to ride an 8-person bamboo raft or opt for a walking tour along the bank. If needed, please contact customer service in advance for coordination.
- Cost explanation: Double bamboo rafts are manually operated rafts, starting with 2 people. If a single person rides, an empty seat fee must be paid.

We sincerely thank “AAA China Memory Trip” and the driver for their polite, responsive service. However, key issues affected our experience: AC in Car is NOT working: Long drives in a hot, stuffy vehicle (windows couldn’t open) left us unwell. Rushed Itinerary: Missed Gongnong Bridge; only briefly saw Shili Gallery. No time for proper lunch. Weather Challenges: Heavy rain the night before caused adjustments to the day trip, but the tight schedule felt a bit stressful. We prefer immersive exploration over rushed photo stops. While the team’s effort is appreciated, the AC issue was critical. Hope this feedback helps improve future trips!

-Pick-up and drop-off service area: Free door-to-door pick-up and drop-off at hotels within Yangshuo County [some hotel guests may need to walk to the nearest meeting point for pick-up, please consult customer service for details]. If you need to travel to areas outside of these, additional fees will be incurred, and the specific amount will be communicated and confirmed by our customer service after your order is confirmed.
Schedule: Group tours depart around 8:00 AM and generally end around 6:00 PM, after which you will be sent back to your hotel or the pick-up point. We will inform you of the exact meeting time again the day before your trip. Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the scheduled time. The tour departs with a minimum of 2 people. A 5-seater, 7-seater, or 9-seater vehicle will be arranged based on the number of participants in the current group.
