What We Love:

If your impression of Hong Kong is towering skyscrapers, hurrying commuters and narrow city streets, prepare to be proved wrong! On this 4 hour tour of Lantau Island, you'll discover Hong Kong's expansive nature, traditional culture and a fishing village hidden in the far reaches of the island. Begin aboard the iconic Ngong Ping 360 cable car for glorious views across Lantau's verdant terrain. At the top, pay a visit to the famous 34 meters Tian Tan Buddha a.k.a 'the Big Buddha' and to tranquil Po Lin Monastery. Making your way down towards the sea and the traditional fishing village of Tai O, hop aboard a boat excursion to understand why the village is sometimes known as the 'Venice of Hong Kong' due to the waterways between the stilt houses and power out to sea in hope of glimpsing one of Tai O's special pink dolphins! Taste some local snacks such as doughnuts, fish balls and tofu pudding, and visit a old-style stilt house, before boarding a ferry back to Tung Chung.

Tour Guide (Annie) is quite responsible. Always ensure all is accounted before moving from point to point. This tour will be better if more free and easy time could be allocated at the fishing village at Tai O to explore and try the small snacks at Tai O. Didn t manage to see the dolphin. Maybe the construction of bridge from hong kong, macau and china disrupt their habitat and not many dolphin left for us to spot.

Nice but it will be great if longer hours spend over Tai o to taste local food. Too rush

this was a great activity! the glass bottom cable car ride up was definitely the highlight. i'd suggest getting up there at least an hour before the meeting time, because there just wasn't enough time to explore the buddha and the village. also, take note that even with the faster line to pick up the tickets for the cable car, we still had to wait about an hour. i would recommend getting in line for the cable car by 11 or 11:30.

This was a fantastic deal. The tour was interesting and well managed. We had fun and it was great being able to cut the extremely long queue at the terminal with this package.
