  • The unparalleled four wonders of Huangshan: Huangshan is world-renowned for its "four wonders" – strange pines, bizarre rocks, sea of clouds, and hot springs. This route offers a close-up view of the elegant posture of the Welcoming Pine, marvel at the wonder of the Fly-Over Rock, encounter the dreamlike sea of clouds, and enjoy the moistening of hot springs after a tiring climb, allowing you to enjoy a variety of ultimate natural beauty in one trip.
  • Magnificent mountain scenery: The three main peaks of Lotus Peak, Tiandu Peak, and Bright Summit stand majestically, all with an altitude of over 1,800 meters. During the climbing process, tourists can experience the sense of accomplishment of conquering the peaks. At Lotus Peak, you can enjoy a 360° panoramic view of the mountains, admire the wonders of the East China Sea and the peaks of the West Sea, and feel the pride of "the sea has an end, the sky is the shore, I am the peak when I reach the top of the mountain."
  • Dreamlike West Sea Grand Canyon: The West Sea Grand Canyon is known as the "Dream Scenic Area" of Huangshan. The canyon is full of strange pines, bizarre rocks, and clustered stone peaks. Take the popular small train through it, as if you are in a dream world. The canyon scenery and clear streams along the way are unforgettable.
  • Long history and rich legends: Huangshan was formerly known as "Yishan" and was renamed because it is said that Emperor Xuanyuan Huangdi once made elixirs here. Many myths and legends such as Li Bai's "Dreaming of a Flower Blooming from a Writing Brush" are also circulated here. While appreciating the beautiful scenery, tourists seem to travel through time and space, talk with the ancients, and feel the profound historical and cultural heritage.

Review for: Upscale 4-Diamond Hotel

The itinerary is not precise. The departure time was not 12.40pm as stated but at 1.30pm and not departed from Tangkou but the pick up bus straight brought us to Hongcun village. The heat of the day made the driver and tour guide quite impatient. The accomodation provided is old and gloomy. Luckily the counter staff upgraded us to a better room. Upon arriving to Tangkou the next morning, the pick up bus left us and we had to pay ¥15.00 per piece to store our luggages in a shop. Tour guide didn't inform us about this and even didn't tell us that there are plenty of food stores (with affordable and delicious food)on top of the mountain. He only encouraged us to pay extra ¥80.00 for a lunch. Another thing we had to pay is the pick up bus doesn't send us to the main entrance and cable car station. Everyone must pay ¥38.00 per person to a blue bus to take us up and later down. Cable cars total cost ¥370.00 per person. There are so much extra to pay along the way. for this inexpensive tour.

Apparently, due to the high number of bookings, the guide contacted us regarding a one-day booking. We had to explain that we had a two-day booking. Then, the departure location was changed (we had to cancel/modify hotel reservations), and the tour program was slightly altered during the excursion. It also turned out that the return trip wouldn't follow the original plan, so we rebooked the hotel. Overall, the program is very approximate; the guide announces all the specifics upon contact. The guide is great, always available (Wechat), and responds quickly. The excursion itself requires physical fitness! There are some very steep climbs! Rickshaws are available as a last resort. It's best to avoid the offered lunches for 80 yuan; you can find noodles for 15, hamburgers for 15, and chicken feet for 10 there. The best option is to bring your own food. Coffee at the top is 4 times more expensive, etc. Hot water dispensers are always available.
