The Dazu Rock Carvings are located in Dazu District, Chongqing, and are a general term for the cliffside stone sculptures within the area. Construction began in the Tang Dynasty and flourished in the Two Song Dynasties. Represented by Baodingshan and Beishan, they represent the culmination of Buddhist, Taoist, and Confucian sculptures. Route A: Baodingshan Rock Carvings + Beishan Rock Carvings 08:00: Depart from the hotel, approximately 1.5 hours drive. 09:30: Visit the Baodingshan Rock Carvings, the essence of the Dazu Rock Carvings, with many exquisite Buddhist statues. Approximately 2-3 hours. 12:00: Enjoy lunch and rest at a nearby restaurant in the scenic area. 13:30: Visit the Dazu Rock Carving Museum, which has a very rich collection of exhibits. 15:00: Admire the Beishan Rock Carvings, mainly exquisite stone carvings from the Tang and Song Dynasties, and experience the artistic features and differences of different dynasties. 17:30: Return to Chongqing city by car.

- This product is a private tour with independent car service for door-to-door pick-up and drop-off. After placing your order, please contact customer service and provide the detailed address of your hotel. (Pick-up within Chongqing city is available in the following business districts: Yuzhong District, Nanping District, Guanyinqiao District, Yangjiaping District, and Shapingba District.)
- This tour includes a Chinese/English speaking guide. The order of the tour is subject to on-site arrangements. It is not possible to leave the group midway. If you do not complete the entire trip due to personal reasons, the fee will not be refunded.
- Each traveler must bring a valid ID (such as original passport/Exit-Entry Permit for travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao) to avoid affecting the visit.
- The walking tour time is relatively long, it is recommended to wear comfortable clothing and sports shoes, and bring drinking water, etc., for a comfortable trip.
