Review for: Sapa Muong Hoa Valley Small Group Trekking Tour

This guided tour was the highlight of my Northern Vietnam trip, me and my husband enjoyed every second of this- our Guide Chang was so cute, bubbly and gave us such beautiful insights of their village life -rice farming, indigo dying ,corn farming, everyday life. The scenery was picturesque and breathtaking, so soothing and refreshing. The hike was not easy because it was a long hike , but not very difficult either because it was mainly descent and Chang was so helpful always . I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a more authentic experience of Vietnam and who love nature walks. The authentic Vietnamese lunch at Lao cai was basic but awesome! The added bonus was we met some wonderful people on this tour, and it was great mingling of people from different backgrounds and cultures. Thank you Chang!!! I loved this tour!

We had one of the most awesome guide, Pang, who took care of us all the way and sharing with us her knowledges of the villages. Constantly looking out for us. The view we saw is totally worth it. Do note that the routes can be muddy and slippery so wear apporiate shoes and bottoms to deal with it. weather is another factor so suggestion will be to bring a disposable raincoat just in case. the total distance covered is around 10km

I did the morning tour. The weather was in our favour. The view was phenomenal more then what I'd expected. Highly advised to wear proper footwear as you will walk through bamboo forest and the fields. My guide Hang Thi Pang shared many interesting stories along the way. She was an awesome guide, loved her company. Will highly recommend to sign up for this. Just be aware the total distance clocked was approx 11km with many ups and downs. Its worth it.

Our guide May is really good! We starts the tour at 8.30am at Sapa Stone Church then we trekked for about 3-4hours to 2 villages before having lunch. Then ended at another village which takes around 30mins after lunch. The weather was extremely sunny and hot, so definitely bring more water. One thing to note: there are local women who will follow along and help during the trek, but they will also sell you their products afterwards, and the prices are quite high. If you feel they genuinely helped you and would like to support them, remember to really negotiate the price. Overall, May was friendly and helpful, can try the trek if you visits Sapa.

We had an amazing time exploring Lao Chai and Ta Van Village with our tour guide Su. The trek was breathtaking, with beautiful rice terraces, peaceful villages, and stunning mountain views at every turn. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire journey enjoyable and hassle-free. We especially appreciated how our guide shared stories about the local culture and way of life, making the experience even more meaningful. The pace of the trek was perfect, and we always felt well taken care of throughout the day. Thank you for giving us such a memorable adventure in Sapa. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the beauty of Lao Chai and Ta Van Village!

I had a wonderful experience trekking through Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai, and Ta Van. Sapa is a very popular tourist destination, but this tour is perfect if you want to escape the crowds and truly enjoy the peaceful local atmosphere. The 10km walk through the rice fields was absolutely beautiful, with stunning landscapes along the way. We also had the chance to experience local culture and enjoy some delicious food, which made the journey even more memorable. The tour ended comfortably with a bus ride back to the starting point, which was very convenient after the long trek. A special thanks to Khu, our guide, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and less touristy experience in Sapa!

We went trekking with May. Walking along country roads is always enjoyable, but the paths in Sapa were especially beautiful. My 6-year-old son came along, and he really enjoyed it because May held his hand and helped him on the rougher parts of the trail. Lunch was also delicious. Hmong women followed us from the beginning, helping us with the hike, though their actual purpose was to sell traditional goods. I didn't mind buying one or two items, but some people might not appreciate that.

Review for: Morning Tour

Hiking Difficulty: The starting point was in an open area without trees. The first part of the route, a downhill section, was quite challenging. Fortunately, many local residents accompanied us and helped, which made it very challenging but also fun 😊. Due to the hot weather and long walking route, it was tough but very rewarding. Scenery: Our guide mentioned it would rain in a few days, so the weather looked hazy. Rice planting won't start until next month, beginning in areas with water and spreading downwards, so it wasn't as lush green as it could be. However, the latter half, closer to the terraced fields, was still very beautiful overall. Guide: Our guide, Mu, was very dedicated. He provided detailed explanations about local life and culture, terraced field cultivation methods, seasons, architecture, schools, and more. We learned a lot, and the experience was very enriching 👍. Local residents along the way enthusiastically sold souvenirs, though many items were repetitive. If they were more unique and practical, they would be more appealing to buy. Drinks and rest stops were available along the route, so there's no need to carry too much water or food, which helps lighten the load 😆.
