What to expect
- In the morning, we will depart from downtown Suzhou and first arrive at Suzhou Museum. This modern building designed by I.M. Pei has rich exhibits covering Suzhou’s history, culture and art. It is an excellent starting point for understanding Suzhou. The museum has an elegant environment and unique design, which makes people linger. Then we will go to Xiyuan Temple, which has a long history and unique architectural style, integrating garden art and Buddhist culture. The wood carvings and stone carvings in the temple are unique, showing the exquisite skills of ancient craftsmen. In addition, the environment in the temple is quiet, which is a good place for a quiet tour. In the afternoon, visit the Humble Administrator’s Garden. As one of the four famous gardens in China, the Humble Administrator’s Garden is famous for its lakes and mountains, rockery ponds, pavilions and towers. The scenery in the garden is picturesque, with winding paths leading to secluded places. Walking in it, it feels like being in a beautiful painting. After a wonderful day’s journey, the special car will take you back to downtown Suzhou.
