Reviews
It was reassuring to have the Japanese language available, making it easier to understand than if we had purchased it locally. We used it after arriving.

The station was easy to find. The ticket was a QR code, but scanning it activated Apple Wallet, which wasn't very smooth.
It's very quick to get to the city center, and there are plenty of dining options right outside the train station. The station staff were friendly, and the time could be changed, but I found that buying tickets on-site was more cost-effective.
You cannot change the boarding time. It's actually easy to buy tickets on-site, so online purchase isn't strictly necessary. Just buy your ticket when you arrive at the station.
