Hanoi to Lao Cai Sleeper Train By Sapaly Express

This was our first overnight sleeper train so I don’t have any comparison to the other train companies. We book through klook a VIP cabin for 2 person. The voucher should be claim at a café in Lao Cai but the agent is not yet around and ask us to come back. Later that evening the agent whatsapp me the photo of our train ticket. I was worried that the train staff will ask the physical ticket but surprisingly there is no problem at all. I never regret travelling by train from Lao Cai to Hanoi because we slept properly the whole night.

Follow the instructions to collect the physical ticket outside the train station. The ride is bumpy but manageable if you're used to trains. Despite the bumps, I slept well. The cabin is standard, with free snacks, coffee sachets, and a toothbrush kit. The toilet is clean.

Very nice experience to ride the sleeper train.. we slept thru the night.. comfy beds.. just an interruption from the cabin staff to sell the beverages, ensure you lock the doors because they will just slide open the door. no issue to redeem the ticket, just show the voucher and the staff will help you

Availed the Hanoi to Lao Cai Sleeper Train by Sapaly Express, and it made our travel hassle-free. The cabin is clean, as well as the toilet. There are also 2 lavatories located outside the toilet.

easy to redeem the train ticket at the Hanoi rail way station. The tickets counter open at 9pm. The train is quite clean and the speace is big enough for the adults. I travel with my family and my kids are very happy with train ride. The train leaving on time and reached the Loa Cai station on time.

You need to exchange your tickets at the restaurant to the right of Lao Cai train station. The tickets won't be prepared in advance, so there's no need to arrive too early. This time, we booked the Sapaly Express, which was the cheapest carriage available, and the quality far exceeded our expectations. Next time, if we have the chance, we hope to try the more upscale Chapa Express.

Train is pretty decent at the price we paid. A lady guided us to our coach and the sheets smells good. There were also some goodies and the toilet is clean.

Great experience to take sleeper train to Sapa. The train is clean, air-conditioning cool enough. But the noise of the train is really disgusting 🤣🤣. But is a good try to have a chance to experience all this..

My sleeper train experience from Hanoi to Sapa was excellent. The cabin was clean and well-maintained, and the beds were more comfortable than I expected. The staff were friendly and assisted us smoothly during boarding. The ride was calm and peaceful, which allowed me to rest well throughout the journey. Overall, a convenient, cozy, and memorable way to travel between Hanoi and Sapa. Highly recommended!
