Place is full of history. Excellent way to spend a few hours learning about the historic ship and it’s role in various wars.
Excellent experience to see how this cruiser runs during the war.
nice tour. but alot of climbing and narrow stairs. those who cannot climb or scared or confined places should not come here.
A very good place to visit. To understand history, to understand the war! Highly recommended!
Get on the deck and experience the old ship that was ravaged in World War II. You can also take a photo with Tower Bridge
Fun and interesting, but only for those who are active enough to climb up and down steep ladders and have no fear of somewhat cramped spaces!
There are many rooms on the warship to visit. The most impressive one is the operating room. In addition to the wax figure and the sound of the operation, do you actually feel the smell of blood? Super real!
I am engaged in the maritime profession, so I am very interested in the structure of the ship, which has improved my knowledge of the old ship technology

Guide

  • Visit the majestic vessel that has survived a great number of historic events, including the Second World War
  • See the cavernous engine rooms that powered the ship through the icy layers of the Arctic
  • Get on the Flag Deck, which is nine levels up, where you can enjoy unparalleled views of central London
  • Enjoy the free audio guides, available in English, French, German, and Spanish

Hop aboard HMS Belfast and explore what life was like living at sea. A museum ship open to the public, HMS Belfast is permanently moored on the River Thames. It was designed many years ago with sixteen 6-inch guns in four quadruple turrets, and was commissioned in 1939 into the Royal Navy under the command of Captain G. A. Scott. Because of this, no other surviving vessel in Britain today has witnessed historic events of the same magnitude as HMS Belfast. The ship is now one of the Imperial War Museums and tells the stories of the 950 men who lived and worked onboard the warship during the Second World War. View the nine decks of amazing history, enjoy the Gun Turret experience, and listen to veterans' first-hand experiences in the Life at Sea exhibition. This floating museum is a magnet for adults and kids of all ages.
