What to expect
Milan, renowned for its design, fashion, and nightlife, also boasts rich cultural and historical heritage. At the heart of the city, near Piazza del Duomo, lies the world-famous Teatro alla Scala. Built in 1778, this iconic theater was commissioned by Empress Maria Theresa of Austria and designed by architect Giuseppe Piermarini. It quickly became a symbol of classical music and culture, hosting influential figures and nobility. Despite wartime damage, the theater was restored to its former glory, and, in the early 2000s, a modern extension by Swiss architect Mario Botta was added. Today, it houses both the historic theater and the Museo Teatrale Alla Scala

Buy and use on the same day! The tour guide was very professional and knowledgeable about the opera house, providing a very detailed introduction to its history and architecture. The opera hall inside is spectacular and beautiful!
so interesting when u go to the box and feel the atmosphere
Interesting stories, lots of useful information. Excellent English and a small group. We even got to see a rehearsal of the performance.
Easy to meet guide as per instructed. This was an unexpected experience. I enjoyed it more than I thought. Guide provides interesting facts and stories behind the theatre. I am amazed by the acoustic and design of the hall. I would definitely like to book a ticket to watch an actual performance in this theatre the next time I come visit Milan.
Highly recommend this tour! Although it's a guided tour of the opera house and the adjacent museum, the explanations were lively and engaging. We were lucky enough to catch a rehearsal and even got to enjoy a sneak peek of the opera performance from one of the boxes.
Very good experience!! The tour guide was professional and familiar with the history of the theatre. She also gave us enough time to take photos in the box. Strongly recommend to join the local tour.
thanks to our guide !! there was a rehearsal coming up so the tour guide took up in asap to the box so we can take a look from the box before the rehearsal starts.
the tour guide was very good and spoke with details of Opera in Milan. strongly recommended to join that local tour.
The tour guide was very professional, leading us to appreciate and explain the various exhibits in the museum, and knew a lot of the museum's history.
Since I was the only person who signed up for that date and time, I received a one-on-one explanation and very attentive service.
