From Kuala Lumpur: Malacca River Cruise & Historical Tour with Lunch

Amazing experience! My guide was Richard and he was welcoming, friendly, and an overall incredible guide. He explained a lot about the historical and cultural significance of things and also answered any and all questions I had about Melacca or Malaysia in general! He also gave recommendations on different experiences or food to try in Melacca and Kuala Lumpur. And he's happy to help you take photos at tourist spots. Thank you Richard!

It was amazing! It was a place I wouldn't have been able to easily reach on my own! The Melaka River Cruise was especially great! The scenery was truly beautiful! The food was also incredibly delicious! I hope I can participate again.

We recently booked the Malacca River Cruise and Historical Tour with Lunch, and while there were some positives, our overall experience was a bit disappointing. Starting with the good: our driver, Mr. Siva, was punctual and very kind. He maintained a soft-spoken demeanor throughout the trip. The itinerary itself was great, with highlights including the scenic river cruise and visits to historical landmarks in Malacca. However, there were several aspects that could be improved. As a tall traveler in a group of four, the vehicle provided was uncomfortably small. Three of us were cramped in the back seat, leaving me with very little legroom for the 2-hour drive from Kuala Lumpur to Malacca. This made the journey quite unpleasant. Additionally, while Mr. Siva was polite, his soft-speaking voice made him hard to understand. Unfortunately, we received little to no guidance during the tour, which felt more like a basic transport service rather than an immersive guided experience. There was minimal interaction between Mr. Siva and our group, which was disappointing. He seemed to engage more with locals than with us, leaving us to navigate and explore on our own. While we enjoyed the destinations, a more interactive driver/guide and better transportation arrangements would have significantly improved our experience.

the tour guide was nice and friendly and had a nice walk at Malacca even though it was extremely hot we had a good time. also had to enjoy a drink at the oldest bar.

I had a great Malacca tour with our very friendly guide, Jasmine. The food was delicious and the people I went with were very polite, so it was a fun trip.

Thank you very much to our driver Richard for making the arrangements very well. He worked very hard throughout the trip and gave us thoughtful explanations and enthusiastic service. He cares about every customer and is patient all day. I think it is a multi-dimensional experience to visit the city. It would be more appropriate to find someone who is familiar with Malacca. The lunch we had was very tasty with juice drinks, perfect!!!
